Emotional Healing

What emotions are running your life?

You know, the ones that keep cropping up. You try to deny, suppress, avoid, or ignore them, but they keep popping up. It’s like the weed in the crack of the sidewalk that no matter how hard you try, it keeps coming back. Perhaps you’ve tried therapy, traditional medicine, or self-medicating, but nothing seems to work.

Why is getting rid of emotional wounding so difficult?

Imagine going out into your yard to pull the weeds. The soil is hard and packed down, and at the first attempt you only pull out the stems. By only pulling out the part of the weed you see the weed will quickly grow back. To effectively pull out the entire weed it would be helpful to have the right tools. You might want a shovel for digging and perhaps some water to pour around the weeds and loosen the soil. With the right tools you can easily weed the garden.

Getting to the root of the emotional wound isn’t always easy. The wounding can be caused from events in your current lifetime, other lifetimes, and even your ancestor’s lifetimes (DNA). The wounding continuously follows you until you choose to resolve it. Once it’s resolved, you never have to fear or hide from it.

To fully heal, you need the right tools and support to get to the root of it all. Once you understand the process you use the same method on each issue that crops up, and the healing process becomes easier.

Did you know that emotions hold a vibrational frequency?

Dr. David Hawkings writes in his book,” Power versus Force, about muscle testing (applied kinesiology) to determine the vibrational frequency of various emotions. Shame, blame, and guilt fall on the lowest end of the scale while love, joy, and enlightenment vibrate very high.

Why is it important to heal emotional wounds?

By resolving and releasing lower vibrating emotions you’re body feels lighter and your capacity to hold more light and higher vibrating emotions is easier. Life in general seems to flow easier. You’ll feel more joy and happiness. And it is easier to manifest what you want because the good stuff you want vibrates at higher rates.

What tools will assist me with healing the mind, body, and soul?

1) Journaling is a great tool to help organize your thoughts so you have a clear picture of the emotions
2) Creating a dialogue between you and the version of yourself (child, teenager, etc) when the emotional wounds took place. Validating the emotions is a big part of healing it
3) Meditation to ask your Creator to pull, cancel, and release, the emotional wounds and replacing them with what emotions you do want
4) Apply therapeutic grade essential oils for support

What are essential oils?

Essential oils are extracted from plants, herbs, barks, and peels. They are the essence (life force) of the plant and have a vibrational frequency. They assist with healing emotional wounds by providing the right frequency and environment for healing.

Essential oils are a catalyst for healing. They create the right environment for the process without doing the actual work for us. They hold a vibrational frequency that supports the body as emotions are brought up, and simply hold space for the transformation. It’s similar to having a private holistic practitioner with you all the time, holding the right vibration for you as you release and resolve the wounding.

When emotions come up, how do you respond? Do you become fearful of it? Do you tell yourself, “Not now!” Do you ignore it? Essential oils are a fabulous tool supporting emotional weeding. Essential oils each hold a different vibration that assists various energetic deficiencies in the body. They hold a consistent vibration as you take an honest look at yourself and face the unresolved emotional wounds.

Do all essential oils provide support in healing?

No. One would assume that the name says it all… 100% pure. But, sadly, that label can be very deceiving. Many people are unaware that the essential oil industry does not have high standards for what is labeled 100% pure essential oil.

For any essential oil to be labeled 100% pure, a single test needs to be passed. This test is called the Gas Chromatograph test. In a nutshell, it tests the oil to make sure all the correct components that make up a particular essential oil are present.

Most reputable companies in the Essential Oil industry conduct this test. If an essential oil passes, it can be labeled as 100% pure. But here is the catch, an essential oil can be labeled as 100% pure, even if all the components are synthetically created! A synthetic essential oil simply cannot have the same therapeutic value as a complex, naturally occurring essential oil.

Even though Gas Chromatography testing insures that the oil contains the correct compounds, it does not determine if the oil contains any impurities, pesticides or other chemicals present.

There are different grades of essential oils:

– Fragrance (most abundant, and most of these are synthetic – no therapeutic value)
– Food (great for flavoring – not therapeutic)
– Therapeutic
– Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade

Next time you are at a health food store, pick up an essential oil bottle that is labeled 100% pure – one that you are positive should be fine to be consumed – like lemon. Read the bottle for “warnings.” The most common one is “not for internal use.” This alone should alert you to synthetics, additives, alcohol, fillers and chemical that are present in these oils, making them unsafe for human consumption.

The only essential oils that can be trusted for being 100% pure therapeutic grade essential oils are those that have passed the CPTG standard. CPTG stands for Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade. To obtain this level of classification, in addition to Gas Chromatography, a Mass Spectrometry test needs to be performed also. Mass Spectrometry testing looks for 3 things the Gas Chromatograph doesn’t.

NATURAL: That all the constituents are natural and free from synthetics.
PURITY: That there are no fillers, chemicals, pesticides, etc in the oil.
POTENCY: That the components or constituents that make up the oil are at the correct therapeutic levels.

For years I’ve know what a powerful catalyst essential oils can be in the healing process. But until recently finding oils that held a high vibration to truly support healing was challenging. But I’m excited to say that I’ve found a line of oils that has one vital component, integrity!

Facilitating the healing within others is my passion. I’ve been doing it for over 30 years! The benefits my clients have seen when adding essential oils to their healing process has been astounding. As a result, many have asked that healing classes be offered to teach them about essential oils and healing.

Cancer Full Moon – 2012

Full Moon on NewMoonManifesting.comThe first Full Moon of the New Year highlights the opposition between Capricorn and Cancer on Monday January 9, 2012 at 2:32am ET (Jan 8th at 11:32pm PT). The Full Moon can be a time of inspiration and enlightenment, or a source of anxiety and fear.

The Capricorn – Cancer opposition is an interesting one. These two signs intensify the home, emotional intimacy, need for security, and building a solid foundation. Capricorn represents the patriarch, while Cancer represents the matriarch. Cancer moon “feels” what others need, and have a strong desire to fulfill it. The Capricorn masculine energy often overpowers the Cancer feminine moon because of the belief that all things masculine are more worthwhile than the feminine attributes. But this is shifting on a macro-cosmic and micro-cosmic level. So whether you’re male or female, learn to honor, embrace and integrate feminine characteristics.

This can be done by looking at what is happening around you and consciously nurture yourself and others in a new way. Ask your Creator when it’s time to step in and help, when to offer advice, or when it’s necessary to sit back and watch, allowing things to unfold. These are the characteristics of a great mother.

During this Full Moon, allow your artistic side to step forth and expand your creativity. Think outside the box. Do something out of character or eccentric. Try something new. Do something that shakes up the old routine to build a new foundation.

The Full Moon reveals our emotional character and deeper needs. Beliefs, emotions, and patterns that have been in the shadows are enlightened by the moons reflection. The moon also highlights security fears and compulsive reactions. Take note of what is still lurking in the shadows, and take steps towards confronting fears and resolving emotional distress.

On the lighter side, the moon also casts its glow upon viable paths for the future. An influx of ideas and inspiration may guide you upon a new course. Consciously integrate the subtle messages and suggestions from Spirit into your daily routine, creating a foundation that supports and sustains your growth.

Be receptive, honor your feelings, and tune into your dreams at this time. Now matter what changes you’re experiencing, stay positive by using affirmations to transmute old patterns into new ones.

Here are some suggestions for Cancer Full Moon Affirmations or use them as a foundation to create your own:

– I easily flow with change

– I faithfully follow my inner wisdom

– I lovingly nurture myself, my dreams, and my path

– I allow the love within my heart to easily flow and radiate in all direction and this love returns to me multiplied

– My foundation is strong and based in Universal Truth

Embrace changes as they come during the Cancer Full Moon and the rest of the year. What shows up for you around this time is a treasured gift for your growth and evolution.

New Year – New You in 2012

New Year, New You on NewMoonManifesting.comWow, another year has flown by. As we embark on the New Year it’s time to reflect upon the old one and set intentions for the new. Every year brings new vibrations, new tendencies and desires.

In numerology, 2011 was the year of “duality illuminated.” The number 2011 is represented by 2=duality and 11=illumination. Many people were unaware of areas in their life where duality existed, and during the year, change was thrust upon them. This created frustration, disappointment, anger, and depression because illusions and unstable foundations were shattered to make room for truth.

During the year, many became aware where duality still existed in their lives and were able to transcend those “ah-ha” moments into healing opportunities. It was a year of breaking down barriers between the us and them mentality, male and female energy, fear and faith, or light and darkness to shift thoughts, emotions, patterns, and behaviors making room for balance and a foundation based on truth.

As with every year, 2012 bring with it a new vibration. In numerology 2012 is the vibration of 5 = 2+1+2. A five holds the vibration of change, adventure, freedom, versatility, curiosity, energetic, and resourceful. Sounds like we’re all in for a BIG adventure in 2012!

In a year of “change” you may be inspired to experience new relationships, new ideas, new contracts, new plans, new enterprises, more growth, more freedom, and more variety. Awareness of how you react to the “new” helps you embrace opportunities instead of shutting them out. When you experience fear towards change or something new, ask yourself, “What’s the worst possible thing that could happen if I do this?” or “What do I have to lose if I do this?” Change is necessary to our growth and evolution, so close your eyes and jump in to the deep end.

In addition to the generic energy of 2012, you can also determine your own “personal year number” to further tune in to the subtle energy of the New Year. For example, take your birth month, add your birth date, and the number 5 (2012) to get your personal year number. Use the number 1 for January, 2 for February, and so on. For example, if your birth date is January 17 add 1 (January) +17 (birth date) +5 (2012) = 1 + 17+ 5 = 23; reduce to a single digit 2+3 = 5.

If the first calculation is a repeating number such as 11, 22, or 33, then do not reduce to a single digit. For example, if your birth date is January 16, then your personal year number is 1 + 16 + 5 = 22. Repeating digits are master numbers and hold a special significance and are not reduced to a single digit.

Predicting 2012 with the Numerology Personal Year Number

Number 1 — New beginnings and more energy

Number 2 — Better relationships and teamwork

Number 3 — More creativity and inspiration

Number 4 — Discipline and opportunities

Number 5 — Unpredicted changes and more expression of personal freedom

Number 6 — Additional responsibility and more attention to domestic affairs

Number 7 — Contemplation and spiritual awareness

Number 8 — Respect and recognition

Number 9 — Transformation and humanitarianism

Recognize change is a big part of the equation this year. It is up to us to embrace change or resisted it. To help you stay on track with your New Year’s Resolutions, join us each month for the New Moon conference call. Click here to register.

Happy New Year and Happy New You!

Winter Solstice 2011

The Winter Solstice occurs on December 22, 2011 at 12:30am EST (Dec 21st at 9:30pm PST). This is the longest night of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. The Winter Solstice is celebrated by many people around the world as it marks the sun’s return. The days get progressively longer until the Summer Solstice in June. It’s a seasonal shift everyone notices.

Emotions may be easily identified between now and the New Moon, which occurs on Saturday December 24, 2011. With the power of the sun and moon minimized, it’s an opportune time to go within; acknowledging the shadow side, and transforming any negativity into light. It’s a quiet, contemplative time where we each can descend into seeing the true image of ourselves and make changes to shift light within.

As we are engrossed in darkness, take time to embrace whatever emotions are surfacing. Focus on creating loving relationships with yourself and others. You may be acutely aware of what emotions and darkness still needs to be resolved, so use meditation, prayer, and/or affirmations to transmute any lower vibrating emotions into higher ones such as love, peace, and joy. Also, ask the Universe to provide you with unconditional love, validation, and support as you transition through the last days of the year.

Do something special to honor this day and yourself; set intentions for the New Year, express gratitude, or disengage from any turmoil by turning it over to the Universe. Use the time of the Winter Solstice and New Moon to resolve the past and prepare for a fabulous New Year!

The Mayan Calendar Ends Today

Mayan temple New Moon ManifestingToday, October 28, 2011 is a significant date on the Mayan Calendar. It’s the end of the ninth wave. There are many theories about the significance of the end of the calendar ranging from gloom and doom to enlightenment.

The ninth wave is called “Unity Consciousness” and began on March 9, 2011. During the past seven months there have been many shifts occuring in the cosmos allowing us to grow and stretch to accommodate new levels of consciousness. We have needed to make room for the consciousness by clearing out the old beliefs, patterns, and emotional baggage. Some of the changes experienced have been a choice on our parts and some have been forced upon us. Without judging the shifts in your life as being “good or bad” recognize the beauty in the change and express gratitude for it.

The human consciousness is constantly evolving. The Mayan Calendar symbolizes the nine levels or steps of evolution the universe goes through on its climb to its highest state of consciousness. With the completion of the ninth wave we are integrating the ability to fully co-create reality. Through each level of consciousness the frequency has increased twenty times from the prior level. Have you felt the vibration shift over the past seven months?

The ninth wave is about creating harmony. What do you need to release to allow more harmony in your life? Ask your Divine guidance to assist you with the disharmony and stress. Right now we are confronted with choices between truth and tradition. Ask you Creator to help you align yourself with the cosmic plan. What are your passions? What can you do to enhance Unity Consciousness?

The end of Ninth Wave of the Mayan Calendar is beginning to an entirely new capacity of manifesting. We step into the energy of true co-creation. Do something symbolic to clean out your space and make room for this energy. Physically clean out closets and de-junk your space. And emotionally clean up the unresolved traumas and dramas creating an uncluttered path for your manifesting.

Embrace the new vibration and ride the wave of “Unity Consciousness” to co-create your realty.

New Moon in Scorpio Affirmations 2011

New Moon Manifesting SuccessAn affirmation is a conscious statement that is used to counteract incorrect thoughts or beliefs by retraining the brain. The affirmation sends a new message through the brain causing a new pathway for the neurons to follow.

Affirmations are a conscious way to create a desired programming. They work as a foundation for the neurons to travel a different pathway. The subconscious reacts to the new programming by either reappraising its current beliefs or avoiding the new information. Resistance is experienced when there is a large gap between what the subconscious currently believes and the new programming.

The subconscious typically finds it easier to maintain the old programming than to challenge the perceived inner truth. This becomes evident when there is a strong inner feeling of resistance when an affirmation is stated or written.

Continually reciting or writing affirmations chips away at the subconscious resistance. Once the resistance is broken through, the subconscious re-examines the core beliefs. Depending upon the depth of the core belief influences how easily it can be reprogrammed. The subconscious may go through periods of introspection as it re-examines the layers of beliefs and learned behaviors. You may experience significant resistance to this process due to extreme traumas experienced.

As you flow through this lunar cycle, use affirmations to transmute any undesirable thoughts, patterns, and emotions so you retrain your brain with what you want to attract.

New Moon in Scorpio Affirmations:

I easily let go and go with the flow

I ride the tide of life

I accomplish what I set out to do

I express my talents and true power easily

I plunge into life and express my passions

I follow my passions

I am free

Full Moon in Aries 10.11.11

Emotions run high as we enter the Full Moon in Aries on October 10, 2011 at 10:06pm EDT (7:06 PDT). With the moon at its peak we are presented with a heightened polarity between individuality (Aries) and partnering (Libra). Libra is always seeking balance, and the quest for harmony in all relationships takes priority over personal needs. Aries is focused on personal needs and neglects achieving balance in relationships.

The moon illuminates areas of our lives that need our attention. With this full moon we are evolving and learning to express ourselves in a new way. This may impact the significant relationships and bring to light what is working and what needs to release.

The effect of the full moon can be felt for a couple of days before and after the actual event. We are all under considerable pressures as the cosmos changes, forcing us to change and evolve. During this time you may feel off balance, out of sorts, discouraged, lethargic, depressed, or unmotivated. To avoid getting swept away by these feelings take time off and relax. There is an ebb and flow to everything, and now is the time to step back.

What can you do to take advantage of the full moon?

1) Take time to notice what’s coming up for you. What emotions are being triggered or what people are upsetting you.
2) Write down a list of who or what you want to release during the full moon.
3) Visualize yourself letting go of everything on your list and replace it with what you want or God’s love, light, and energy.
4) Or burn the list sending your desires into the universe.
5) Use affirmations to transmute emotions that need to be resolved with what you want.

Affirmations:

- I heal my relationships with love and grace

- I am balanced between my individuality and partnerships

- I easily release anger and aggression

- I easily resolve emotional wounds

- I am balanced in my relationships

- I am powerful and independent

- I see my true path

- I forgive others and myself

Finding balance between the Libra energy of compromise coupled with the spontaneous energy of Aries is stirring up interesting twists in all of our lives. Use the power of the Full Moon in Aries to help you achieve your goals.
