New Moon/Eclipse in Cancer 2011

The New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Cancer happens on July 1, 2011 at 4:53 am EDT (1:53 am PDT). This is the third eclipse within the past 30 days and is triggering necessary changes.
The new moon is the time for rebirth, new beginnings, a clean slate, planting new seeds, and is the perfect time to revisit existing goals or begin new ones. This new moon highlights the qualities of the astrological sign of Cancer – intuition, empathy, sensitive, and contemplative. Cancer is also ruled by the moon adding and extra dose of power to this New Moon.
The eclipse is brimming with expressive energy! It accelerates transitions in our situations, events, and issues, demanding our complete attention. The influence of this eclipse/new moon will last for up to a year. Where do you want to see change in yourself and your life?
The eclipse shakes up our world and creates necessary changes within and outside ourselves needed to clear our path and help us grow. These changes may seem dramatic, harsh, and sudden, and may provoke fears, anger, confusion, and frustration. But this is a time where we can make big changes depending upon our reaction to this energy. Where is your attention focused? What do you want to resolve and release? What do you want to create?
Now is the time to focus on what your subconscious is bringing to the surface and face it. The emotional, empathic energy of Cancer will assist you in dealing with unresolved emotional issues that are hiding below the surface. You have the support of your Creator, and inner courage and strength to resolve what is demanding your attention now. Keep reminding yourself of that each time you feel fearful, doubtful, or weak.

A new lunar cycle begins on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 2:51 am ET (11:51pm PT May 2). As the new moon moves into Taurus you’ll want to integrate your goals with the Taurus characteristics in mind.
As you set your goals this lunar cycle, use the key elements of the Taurus energy to get what you want by focusing on growth, stability, development, sustaining, and creating security in the material world. On the darker side, the Taurus energy can take on the form of being overbearing, territorial, and stubborn, so watch what is coming up for you and adjust accordingly.

New Moon in Sagittarius – Dec 5, 2010

It’s time to relax and celebrate instead of bracing for the next hard lesson like we’ve been doing for the past several months; finally a new moon where we can catch our breath. Just in time for the holidays and the New Year!
The new moon enters Sagittarius on December 5, 2010 at 12:36pm EDT (9:36 am PDT). Setting goals during this new moon is especially productive because of Saturn and Jupiter’s influence. Saturn in Libra helps us direct our energy in more productive channels, while, Jupiter in Pisces is keeping the energy high.
Letting go of the past and old way of doing things opens the door for new patterns and different possibilities. This is a time to expand your thinking – reaching way outside the box. Embrace your creativity and prepare for a joyful month.

New Moon in Libra – 2010

The new moon lands in the sign of Libra on October 6, 2010 at 11:44 am PDT (2:44 pm EDT). The new moon brings an opportunity to evaluate what you’ve accomplished during the month and set new goals.
Over the past several months life for many people has been out of balance as we heal old wounds. This lunation brings us into balance and harmony in the sign of Libra. You’ll have a new understanding of how crisis after crisis has pushed you in a new direction or perhaps your perceptions have shifted helping you see the world in a different way.
By taking a step back and evaluating how your life has changed over the past several month it will be easier to let go of trying to control the people and events around you. The new moon is a time to of rebirth, planting new seeds, developing new actions, germinating new thoughts, and manifesting what you want. We’ve just ended the playful, creative, self-promoting emphasis of the Leo lunar cycle and are now moving into the quieter more introspective energy of Virgo. Virgo’s mission is to help us know ourselves. Its emphasis is on practical aspects, work, patience, and purification; placing your attention of technique, methodology, and the process of transformation.

This is your time to shine and remember your purpose! What do you really want? How do you want to be? As we move into the new moon, on August 9, 2010 at 11:08pm ET, it’s time to set or renew your intentions.
During to this lunar cycle, pay attention to pressure points. You may feel like you’re on the brink of breaking, but this pressure is helping you “break through” patterns. Use meditation, breathing, or visualization exercises each day to “breath out the old” and “breath in the new.” This process may bring stuff up, but at least the energy is moving.

New Moon in Gemini 2010

The phase of the new moon is an opportunity for new beginnings: starting new projects, setting new goals, and renewing existing goals. Whatever you want to achieve, now is the time to put your energy and intentions into drawing the resources to you.
During this new moon on June 12, 2010 at 7:15am ET you may experience a mental clash between practical thoughts and new ways of living. Holding on tightly to the past way of doing things will only intensify necessary changes. If you find yourself resisting, ask yourself, “Why am I set on doing things this way?” Allow yourself to let go of expectations of how things “should be.”
The potential here is to unlock doors of our own mental rigidity and open up to expansion. Now is the time to pay attention to the messages of taking care of the areas of your life that have been neglected or suppressed. Provide a safe place for your emotions to come up without shame, blame, or guilt, and view them without getting caught in the drama. Express gratitude for the lessons you’ve learned as a result and let them pass by so you’re now free!

New Moon in Taurus 2010

Our world is constantly in a state of flux. As the earth is shedding old patterns with its devastating storms, earthquakes, and volcanic activity it’s providing a different landscape for us all. As a part of this earth, we too are impacted by natural disasters, emotional turmoil, and financial distress. Within a split second everything can change. Letting go of expectations and being open to all possibilities is the key to any transition.
It’s easy to get caught in patterns; expecting that life will continue on a specified course often determined by us. We often anticipate that if we do steps A, B, and C, that results D and E will manifest. Frustrations set in when the results are not as expected. To prepare for the manifesting, write down a list of goals or intentions you want to attract or issues you want to release during the lunar cycle. After the cycle is over, review your old list crossing off goals achieved and file it, then begin a new list for the new cycle. To maintain balance in your life, look at goals on several different levels including financial, spiritual, mental, emotional, and physically.
