Law of Detachment

Our lives are governed by universal spiritual laws. Learning to live within their parameters helps our lives run more smoothly and helps us get what we want. The Law of Detachment is necessary to understand and integrate into the manifesting process.

The Law of Detachment says that in order to acquire anything in the physical universe, you have to relinquish your attachment to it. This doesn’t mean you give up your intention to create what you want or the desire for it. It means that you give up your attachment to the outcome.

When you’re attached to a particular outcome, the attachment is based in fear and insecurity. The ego is present when we are attached to a particular outcome. It wants to know how everything is going to work out, where everything is coming from, and basically controls the outcome.

True manifesting comes from stopping the ego’s desire to control the process or outcome, and turning the process over to your higher-self without giving direction or maintaining control. The source of wealth, abundance, or anything else in the physical world comes through us from our higher-consciousness. And our higher-consciousness knows how to fill all of our needs.

Too often status symbols or stuff is a substitute to connecting with our higher-self. Status symbols are used to fill emotional voids or wounds, feel better about ourselves, or feel better than other people, but in the end there is hollowness inside that having more stuff never satisfies.

Chasing status symbols is the ego’s way of providing security. But in the end, the ego’s idea of security is an illusion. When caught in the ego’s grasp, we are prisoners of a mediocre existence, helplessness, hopelessness, desperation, and poverty consciousness.

True security comes when we learn to stop the ego’s intervention in the process and remind ourselves that our higher-consciousness works through us.

When we learn to let go (detach) from stuff or perceived outcomes we shift our consciousness. Most often the need for the symbols disappears also. Instead of chasing after what we want, it appears when it’s needed.

When we learn to embrace uncertainty without fear, manifesting becomes easy. Uncertainty is a wisdom; a knowingness that everything is provided when you need it. Uncertainty is freedom. It means you’re stepping into the unknown in every moment.

As you set your goals, set intentions and detach from the outcome. You open yourself up to the realm of possibilities instead of the limitations of your past experiences. Your results will probably be better than you ever imagined!

Countdown to the Solstice, Full Moon, & Lunar Eclipse

We are a few days away from the Winter Solstice on December 21st. This year the solstice is accompanied by a full moon and lunar eclipse.

Tuesday, December 21st at 12:13 am PST is the time of the full moon. It stirs up our emotions bringing unresolved issues to the surface.

It’s a great time to take note of what’s coming up and asking the Universe to help you resolve it. The combined energy of the full moon, solstice, and lunar eclipse bring about a powerful time of healing and setting the stage for the future.

Now is the time to focus on creating loving relationships with yourself and others. The full moon may stir up conflict, resentments, violence, anger, and disagreement. Focus your energy on creating love, peace, and joy by asking the Universe to provide you with unconditional love, validation, and support.

Also, for people that are triggering intense emotions within you, ask the Universe to provide them with the same gifts of validation, unconditional love, and support. This will disengage your emotions and energy from them and help settle the situation down.

Do something special to honor this day and yourself; set your intentions for the new year, express gratitude, or turn any turmoil over to the Universe to resolve.

This is a time for completion. Resolve the past and prepare yourself for a beautiful future!
