Full Moon in Gemini – Lunar Eclipse

The moon reaches its peak on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 9:36am EST (6:36am PST). The Full Moon in Gemini is accompanied by a total Lunar Eclipse which will be visible in the Northern Hemisphere.
The Gemini moon-Sagittarius sun challenges us to seek mental balance between the “lower mind,” represented by Gemini and the “higher mind,” represented by Sagittarius. This polarity may create confusion between being comfortable with the current environment (Gemini) or broadening horizons (Sagittarius). Both signs are highly flexible, so go with the flow and work with the energy coming forth instead of resisting it.
Utilize the expansive energy of Sagittarius while cleaning up what is being illuminated by the full moon. This full moon stimulates adventure and communication. Any issues, patterns, or emotions that have been buried in the darkness will be lit up by the full moon. It’s time to free ourselves from anything that is inauthentic with our soul and follow our destiny.
Feeling agitated, irritable, and angry are common themes with any full moon. With the moon, illuminating the darkness within may bring you to a breaking point as your inner world feels chaotic. Realizing this helps you stay clear of blowing up or possible outbursts that you may regret later. Use this time to identify areas that need your attention or work with the emotions that are brought to the surface to help you resolve underlying issues and become deeply attuned to your wants and needs. The lunar eclipse intensifies the effects of the full moon, and may trigger awareness on a deeper level than a typical full moon.
Eclipses created fear for centuries, typically because they were misunderstood. We are now learning to work with their energy to enhance our lives. Some astrologers believe the effects of this lunar eclipse will influence us for the next three to six months. You may experience a burst of insight or erratic declarations that rejuvenate existing relationships and goals.
The energy of change is upon us. This lunar eclipse symbolizes change in relationships. Intensity Builds with the Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse

On Wednesday June 15, 2011 at 4:14pm EDT (1:14pm PDT) we the experience the power and grace of the full moon. The moon reflects our underlying emotions and brings them to light, thus magnifying those that need to be resolved and healed. This full moon will be even more intense with the accompanying complete lunar eclipse.
This full moon in the Sagittarius-Gemini axis brings up issues related to the mind, awareness, and judgment. The full moon in Sagittarius brings up aspects of “higher consciousness” such as using our intuitive abilities, innate responses, and expansion into seeing the bigger picture, while the polarity of Gemini focuses on the “lower mind” and brings up a more rational approach. Ultimately a balance between the two is ideal.
This eclipse and full moon is about communication, a sense of adventure (Sagittarius), resolving emotional wounding, and letting go of old beliefs and prejudices. By cleaning out your emotional closet and letting go of the past, you’ll create space for the new adventure that has been building for the past several weeks. Be open to the realm of possibilities over the next several weeks and see what unfolds for you.
Some sort of crisis could shake things up causing you to break out of the old paradigm and bringing new awareness to a situation. Instead of getting caught in victim mode, look at it as a blessing that frees you from the chains that have held you back.
Emotions will be intensified over the next several of days (before and after the full moon) so watch yourself and instead of getting caught up in them take a step back and observe what going on. Keep yourself grounded through meditation, connecting deeply with the center of the earth, or spending time in nature.
The universe is awakening us to a new way of living and moments such as these are the catalyst for great changes within us. Be open and aware of the energy over the next several days and adjust your responses to allow yourself to fully benefit from what it being brought up for you.
Manifest your desires and dreams during the full moon/lunar eclipse by resolving what the moon is reflecting back to you! Let go of your fears and trust the Universe is providing the best possibilities for your healing and evolution. Use the energy of this full moon/lunar eclipse to shift your awareness and open up to new adventures.
