The Full Moon is a time of culmination of what began with the New Moon. The Full Moon in Libra is opposite of the sun in Aries on Friday April 6, 2012 at 3:20pm EDT (12:20pm PDT). The Full Moon reflects our emotions, with this particular axis focused on the polarity of relationships.
The Libra Full Moon suggests we find balance in relationships of all kinds. Where are the scales out of balance? Giving and receiving are important aspects of any healthy relationship. Where in your relationships does there need to be more fairness and harmony? This Full Moon will illuminate areas that need your attention. The first instinct with the Libra energy is to fix things and bring them back into balance.
Change in any relationship is based upon change within yourself or the other person. Ask your Creator for guidance to determine who should change. If one changes to appease the situation instead of speaking one’s truth then the lesson may be lost. If it is necessary for the other person to change, then ask your Creator for courage to speak your Truth with them. Speaking your Truth is a very liberating and transformative experience; restoring your power.
Emotions are heightened during any Full Moon, but Aries’ emphasis is on satisfying the “self,” and Libra’s emphasis is on satisfying “others.” This polarity may cause distress between wanting to win and creating win-win situations. In a heightened emotional state it’s difficult to shift your perspective because of the imbalance. It is better to come back and re-examine the situation when your emotions have calmed down.
Emotions are an indicator that a belief system or pattern is presenting itself for clearing. Emotions are a point of reference that your Creator is using to point the way for healing. Pay attention to what you are being shown! By learning how to work with emotional indicators, you can quickly transform and heal yourself. One way you can break the belief or pattern is to detach from your emotions and look at the situation without the emotions clouding your perspective.
Use affirmations, meditation, and grounding techniques to help shift old patterns to new ones.
Suggested Full Moon in Libra Affirmations:
~ I am supportive of important relationships with myself and others
~ I am grateful for the partnerships in my life
~ I am at peace with myself and in relationships
~ I am balanced in relationships
~ I am honest and fair in relationships
~ I easily speak my Truth
If you want something to be different in your life, then you have to be different. Abraham Hicks said, “You have the ability to begin a new pattern, to tell a new story, to achieve a different vibration, to change your point of attraction.” By changing the emotions that are surfacing during this Full Moon in Libra you will vibrate differently, and begin to attract different stuff to you. Manifest your dreams with the power of the Full Moon in Libra on April 6, 2012.

If anything feels stuck right now, it’s going to show up with this Full Moon. Leo’s energy is dramatic and intense. It urges us to take big risks and pushes us to connect with our wild side. Keep in mind with risk come rewards. Just how much change can you manage? Keep yourself grounded to avoid overextending and taking on more than you can handle by meditating, taking a walk in nature, or indulging in an Epsom salt bath.
With the moon illuminating your emotions, use the light to identify areas of your life where you feel stuck. Awareness brings change. What emotions such as un-forgiveness, resentments, and judgments can you release? Where do you need to improve communication? What decisions have you been putting off? Use the boost of energy of this Full Moon to push you into making the changes you want.
Honor the time around the Full Moon in Leo by moving something around in your environment. A slight shift in thoughts, actions, and emotions could be all you need to get different results. Embrace the intensity instead of avoiding or surviving it! Take a walk on the wild side.
The first Full Moon of the New Year highlights the opposition between Capricorn and Cancer on Monday January 9, 2012 at 2:32am ET (Jan 8th at 11:32pm PT). The Full Moon can be a time of inspiration and enlightenment, or a source of anxiety and fear.
The Capricorn – Cancer opposition is an interesting one. These two signs intensify the home, emotional intimacy, need for security, and building a solid foundation. Capricorn represents the patriarch, while Cancer represents the matriarch. Cancer moon “feels” what others need, and have a strong desire to fulfill it. The Capricorn masculine energy often overpowers the Cancer feminine moon because of the belief that all things masculine are more worthwhile than the feminine attributes. But this is shifting on a macro-cosmic and micro-cosmic level. So whether you’re male or female, learn to honor, embrace and integrate feminine characteristics.
This can be done by looking at what is happening around you and consciously nurture yourself and others in a new way. Ask your Creator when it’s time to step in and help, when to offer advice, or when it’s necessary to sit back and watch, allowing things to unfold. These are the characteristics of a great mother.
During this Full Moon, allow your artistic side to step forth and expand your creativity. Think outside the box. Do something out of character or eccentric. Try something new. Do something that shakes up the old routine to build a new foundation.
The Full Moon reveals our emotional character and deeper needs. Beliefs, emotions, and patterns that have been in the shadows are enlightened by the moons reflection. The moon also highlights security fears and compulsive reactions. Take note of what is still lurking in the shadows, and take steps towards confronting fears and resolving emotional distress.
On the lighter side, the moon also casts its glow upon viable paths for the future. An influx of ideas and inspiration may guide you upon a new course. Consciously integrate the subtle messages and suggestions from Spirit into your daily routine, creating a foundation that supports and sustains your growth.
Be receptive, honor your feelings, and tune into your dreams at this time. Now matter what changes you’re experiencing, stay positive by using affirmations to transmute old patterns into new ones.
Here are some suggestions for Cancer Full Moon Affirmations or use them as a foundation to create your own:
– I easily flow with change
– I faithfully follow my inner wisdom
– I lovingly nurture myself, my dreams, and my path
– I allow the love within my heart to easily flow and radiate in all direction and this love returns to me multiplied
– My foundation is strong and based in Universal Truth
Embrace changes as they come during the Cancer Full Moon and the rest of the year. What shows up for you around this time is a treasured gift for your growth and evolution.
The Gemini moon-Sagittarius sun challenges us to seek mental balance between the “lower mind,” represented by Gemini and the “higher mind,” represented by Sagittarius. This polarity may create confusion between being comfortable with the current environment (Gemini) or broadening horizons (Sagittarius). Both signs are highly flexible, so go with the flow and work with the energy coming forth instead of resisting it.
Utilize the expansive energy of Sagittarius while cleaning up what is being illuminated by the full moon. This full moon stimulates adventure and communication. Any issues, patterns, or emotions that have been buried in the darkness will be lit up by the full moon. It’s time to free ourselves from anything that is inauthentic with our soul and follow our destiny.
Feeling agitated, irritable, and angry are common themes with any full moon. With the moon, illuminating the darkness within may bring you to a breaking point as your inner world feels chaotic. Realizing this helps you stay clear of blowing up or possible outbursts that you may regret later. Use this time to identify areas that need your attention or work with the emotions that are brought to the surface to help you resolve underlying issues and become deeply attuned to your wants and needs. The lunar eclipse intensifies the effects of the full moon, and may trigger awareness on a deeper level than a typical full moon.
Eclipses created fear for centuries, typically because they were misunderstood. We are now learning to work with their energy to enhance our lives. Some astrologers believe the effects of this lunar eclipse will influence us for the next three to six months. You may experience a burst of insight or erratic declarations that rejuvenate existing relationships and goals.
The energy of change is upon us. This lunar eclipse symbolizes change in relationships. Any relationships where you notice you’re stuck or places where you’re noticing your wants and needs are not being met will come to light at this time. There may be confusion, mixed signals, and/or emotional reactions that are intensified at this time. Take a step back, breathe deeply, observe the situation, and let go of any struggle.
This heightened awareness is all part of the process of shaking out the old stuff to make room for the new. It’s an opportunity for you to move forward, leaving behind anything that no longer serves you and prepare for the New Year.
Create a Full Moon ritual by:
1) Writing down any emotions, patterns, or beliefs that you want to release
2) Focus on what you want to replace it with
3) Burn the list sending your message into the cosmos
4) Express gratitude

It’s a big week for potential transformations with the dates 11.10.11 and 11.11.11 as well as the Full Moon.
The 11.10.11 and 11.11.11 dates are significant in numerology. Numbers are symbols with subtle messages from our angels and guides. Each number holds a particular vibration. When looking at a date all the digits can be combined and reduced to a single digit; for example the date 11.10.11 is reduced to 1+1+1+0+2+0+1+1= 7. According to Collette Baron-Reid the number 7 holds the vibration of spirituality, observation, and meditation. Kryon states the number seven holds the vibration of wholeness, divinity, and perfection.
Typically repeating numbers such as 11 are called master numbers. Looking at the 11.10.11 date again the message would be 11 = illumination; 10 or 1= new beginnings; and 11 = illumination. We are living in a time where human consciousness is shifting at a phenomenal rate. With each change in consciousness we have opportunities for exponential growth. In this date the potential opportunities for new beginnings are flanked by divine light.
The date 11.11.11 represents illumination tripled! This date is a portal or gateway of Conscious Awakening of our soul’s purpose. As we resolve resistance, heal, and evolve, our bodies are able to hold and maintain more light, thus vibrating at higher rates. Since manifesting is based upon vibration, we attract similar people or situations that vibrate at our same rate. This is the foundation of the Law of Attraction; like attracts like. Through these shifts we are able to shed the old patterns and resistance that keeps us at lower vibrations, thus en-lightening the body, and attracting higher vibrations.
The date 11.11.11 also is represented by the number 8=1+1+1+1+2+0+1+1 which Collette describes as a symbol of power, strength, abundance, and a balance of energies; Kryon describes is as a symbol of manifesting and infinity. We are seeing signs of incorrect perceptions of power being stripped away. Money, dominance, and control have long been perceived as a way to be powerful, but these false paradigms are crumbling as the energy shifts towards our true power: unity, collaboration, and oneness. True power comes from one source: God (Universal Intelligence, Creator, Source, or whatever you choose). As we release the false perceptions we open up to receiving more.
As if the intensity of these two days isn’t enough, let’s stir the pot with the emotional force of the Full Moon in Taurus. For many the full moon may drudge up intense fears and anxiety as one may feel out of control. The human condition has adapted to being in control. It takes work/practice to shift the ego’s desire to control everything and leap forward in faith knowing a higher power is assisting you. The Taurus Full Moon energy deals with personal values, the material world, and security while Scorpio rules transformation, change, and destruction. The foundation you thought was secure may be shaking at this time as false beliefs and values are being destroyed bringing in purity, truth, and deepening our human experience.
The moon reaches its peak on Thursday 11.10.11 at 3:18pm EDT (12:18pm PDT). The Full Moon illuminates the night sky and our emotions. So another layer of illumination is added to an already heightened time. Be aware of what emotions are coming up for you. Your Higher-Self is bringing to light what emotions and resistance need to be resolved within you. Instead of reacting to the emotions, take a deep breath and ask yourself,
“What am I feeling?”
“What do I need to understand and/or resolve?”
When paying attention to the messages brought up, you can consciously transmute the old pattern to what you want. Here are a couple of exercises to help through these transitions:
1) Take time to write down the emotions and messages to help organize your thoughts and attract solutions
2) Visualize the old thoughts, emotions, or patterns leaving your body and replace them with what is wanted. For example, if you react in anger, visualize all anger leaving your body and replace it with peace or love.
3) Transmute thoughts and emotions by using affirmations
4) Express gratitude for what is being brought up to help resolve it
11.11.11 and Full Moon Affirmations:
I easily let go security and embrace uncertainty
I easily resolve anger and frustration; responding with love and kindness
I listen and follow my inner guidance
I am divinely guided and led
I am Illuminated
We are being bathed in divine light for the next several days. Take time on 11.10.11 and 11.11.11 to let go of any darkness, heaviness, or burdens by turning them over to your Creator. Visualize a golden-white light coming into your physical body through the crown of your head and illuminating every cell within you. Through this practice you are bringing more light to yourself and the world.

Emotions run high as we enter the Full Moon in Aries on October 10, 2011 at 10:06pm EDT (7:06 PDT). With the moon at its peak we are presented with a heightened polarity between individuality (Aries) and partnering (Libra). Libra is always seeking balance, and the quest for harmony in all relationships takes priority over personal needs. Aries is focused on personal needs and neglects achieving balance in relationships.
The moon illuminates areas of our lives that need our attention. With this full moon we are evolving and learning to express ourselves in a new way. This may impact the significant relationships and bring to light what is working and what needs to release.
The effect of the full moon can be felt for a couple of days before and after the actual event. We are all under considerable pressures as the cosmos changes, forcing us to change and evolve. During this time you may feel off balance, out of sorts, discouraged, lethargic, depressed, or unmotivated. To avoid getting swept away by these feelings take time off and relax. There is an ebb and flow to everything, and now is the time to step back.
What can you do to take advantage of the full moon?
1) Take time to notice what’s coming up for you. What emotions are being triggered or what people are upsetting you.
2) Write down a list of who or what you want to release during the full moon.
3) Visualize yourself letting go of everything on your list and replace it with what you want or God’s love, light, and energy.
4) Or burn the list sending your desires into the universe.
5) Use affirmations to transmute emotions that need to be resolved with what you want.
- I heal my relationships with love and grace
- I am balanced between my individuality and partnerships
- I easily release anger and aggression
- I easily resolve emotional wounds
- I am balanced in my relationships
- I am powerful and independent
- I see my true path
- I forgive others and myself
Finding balance between the Libra energy of compromise coupled with the spontaneous energy of Aries is stirring up interesting twists in all of our lives. Use the power of the Full Moon in Aries to help you achieve your goals.

This month’s Full Moon on September 12, 2011 at 5:27am EDT (2:57am PDT) is also a Harvest Moon. Honor the harvest moon by acknowledging the lessons you’ve mastered, intentions brought to fruition, and personal work you’ve accomplished without judgment.
Each month the moon moves through the zodiac signs and influences us emotionally. The Full Moon in Pisces is a time to take a step back and look deep into the emotions that are coming up at this time. Focus on your inner desires and through introspection, gain insight into who you really are and understand areas of yourself that need attention.
The Full Moon is a time of emotional turbulence where you shed the old and let go of everything that no longer supports you. Take some time and reflect upon your accomplishments over the past six months. Notice what works, what needs to be tweaked, and where you can surrender to the process. Focus on the positive aspects with gratitude.
Take some time during the Harvest Full Moon to acknowledge, release, and praise yourself!

Emotions intensify with the Full Moon in Aquarius occurring on Saturday August 13, 2011 at 2:57pm EDT (11:57am PDT). During the full moon phase our conscious and subconscious minds are seeking balance and resolution.
What emotions or issues are being brought forward to your consciousness? Now is the time to face them. You’re being guided and supported by your Inner Wisdom to face these issues, patterns, and situations head on.
The Moon in dreamy Aquarius is opposite the Sun in heart-felt Leo, and brings opportunities for deep philosophical change. It’s a perfect time to step out of the norm and look at a different realty. This opposition allows us to explore the mysteries of life and question our course. Now is a great time to ask yourself, ‘How do I lead a more purposeful life?” “How do I align myself with it?”
When you’re open to change your Inner Wisdom pulls forward ideas and inspiration to lead you on a purposeful life. It’s a time to shift misperceptions and old patterns and embrace something new.
Take advantage of this week’s Full Moon in Aquarius and clear the old subconscious patterns that control you. Let go of the old and forgive; express gratitude for all you have now, so you easily move forward with love and grace!

Emotions spark this week with the full moon on Friday July 15, 2011 at 2:39 am EDT (July 14 at 11:39 pm PDT). This full moon encourages us to focus on the structures, systems, and organizations of our external world. Where are you seeing cracks in the foundation? How do they affect your productivity?
What intentions you set during the new moon are either building or disintegrating during the full moon. The Capricorn moon embodies integrity, perfection, leadership, responsibility, and maturity. In opposition, the sun in Cancer calls to our inner world of emotions, nurturing, and dependency. What is coming up between your inner and outer worlds could be testing your strength. This dichotomy is an opportunity to pierce the veil of denial and take responsibility for your choices.
We have a full spectrum of responses available and can learn to artfully move between them, thus mastering ourselves by flowing between our emotions while taking responsibility and crafting life. It’s time to free ourselves from dependencies from other people (where possible), addictions, and stories that keep you tied to the past. Once free from these barriers you can more freely create what you want.
The full moon illuminates our planet. It enlightens emotions, relationships, and patterns that still need our attention and resolution. Strengthen the mind/body/spirit connection and face what is brought to the surface. With the full moon you may see life differently. The focus is on relationships – with your family, co-workers, community, and especially yourself. Now is the time to let go of anything that no longer serves you and heal any rifts that keep you disconnected. Resolving outstanding resentments, anger, shame, and guilt helps shift your perceptions so you see yourself and your world differently.
Allow only loving, supporting relationships into your life, letting go of all others. Surround yourself with situations and people that lift your spirit and encouraging you to reach new heights. Take the time during the Full Moon to assess what areas you still need to resolve!
Create a ritual writing down what’s coming up for you and burning it under the Full Moon – releasing it through the smoke to the heavens. Then recite affirmations to bring in new energy and replace what’s been released.
I attract loving, supportive relationships
I love and accept myself unconditionally
I move beyond old limitations and now allow myself to express freely and creatively
Use the power of the Full Moon in Capricorn to release and free yourself from old patterns. Do you need help in understanding/resolving you’re specific situation? Contact Jana for a personal session or join our upcoming 3-week teleclass beginning in August 2011 (details coming by next Monday).
On Wednesday June 15, 2011 at 4:14pm EDT (1:14pm PDT) we the experience the power and grace of the full moon. The moon reflects our underlying emotions and brings them to light, thus magnifying those that need to be resolved and healed. This full moon will be even more intense with the accompanying complete lunar eclipse.
This full moon in the Sagittarius-Gemini axis brings up issues related to the mind, awareness, and judgment. The full moon in Sagittarius brings up aspects of “higher consciousness” such as using our intuitive abilities, innate responses, and expansion into seeing the bigger picture, while the polarity of Gemini focuses on the “lower mind” and brings up a more rational approach. Ultimately a balance between the two is ideal.
This eclipse and full moon is about communication, a sense of adventure (Sagittarius), resolving emotional wounding, and letting go of old beliefs and prejudices. By cleaning out your emotional closet and letting go of the past, you’ll create space for the new adventure that has been building for the past several weeks. Be open to the realm of possibilities over the next several weeks and see what unfolds for you.
Some sort of crisis could shake things up causing you to break out of the old paradigm and bringing new awareness to a situation. Instead of getting caught in victim mode, look at it as a blessing that frees you from the chains that have held you back.
Emotions will be intensified over the next several of days (before and after the full moon) so watch yourself and instead of getting caught up in them take a step back and observe what going on. Keep yourself grounded through meditation, connecting deeply with the center of the earth, or spending time in nature.
The universe is awakening us to a new way of living and moments such as these are the catalyst for great changes within us. Be open and aware of the energy over the next several days and adjust your responses to allow yourself to fully benefit from what it being brought up for you.
Manifest your desires and dreams during the full moon/lunar eclipse by resolving what the moon is reflecting back to you! Let go of your fears and trust the Universe is providing the best possibilities for your healing and evolution. Use the energy of this full moon/lunar eclipse to shift your awareness and open up to new adventures.
