Full Moon in Sagittarius – 2013

There is a steady increase in intensity this week as we approach the Full Moon in Sagittarius and Lunar Eclipse on May 25,2013 at 12:25am EDT (May 24th at 9:25pm PDT). A Lunar Eclipse is a more potent Full Moon, and its effects tend to last longer. Some say the influence of a Lunar Eclipse may last approximately three to six months.

Lunar Eclipses are about relationships and polarities. The Gemini-Sagittarius mental axis is a dance between the “lower” mind and the “higher” mind. Gemini encourages us to open up to new experiences; it is linked to curiosity and logical thinking. Sagittarius rules ideology, and a quest for meaning. This axis is a balance between knowledge and learning.

Lunar Eclipses are meant to close chapters in our lives. It’s a time of letting go of habits, patterns, and people that have lost their usefulness. Letting go can be challenging. Many people resist change. It’s easier to manage change if we choose it, versus having it forced upon us. But when we are unwilling to let go, the Universe sometimes has to push us out of the nest, helping transitions take place.

During this Full Moon watch any resistance (fears) you have towards issues that are coming up. Take time to write out why you are fearful about situations and issues. Journaling your fears is a great way of facing them. In doing so the conscious mind can see the fears are unwarranted. But until you look at it, fears will cloud your perceptions.

The Lunar Eclipse and Full Moon are in the visionary Sagittarius. Sagittarius rules the 9th House – the House of Philosophy. It governs foreign travel, culture, long distance journeys, knowledge, expansion through experience, and higher education.

Stretch the imagination and think BIG with this Full Moon. It has the potential to push the envelope of your beliefs, feelings, philosophical perspectives and religious viewpoints. With the old filters removed there is the possibility to expand your window on the world. This is especially important for projects that have been in the works. Things may feel like they are suddenly coming together or you see options that were determinable before. Watch any tendencies to over-think or figuring the details out (Gemini); simply go with the flow. Overtime it will all work out in the right time frame.

This is a tricky lunation, on the one hand it inspires imagination and intuition but may lead to unrealistic expectations or unfounded hopes. Support the process by practicing grounding techniques such as walking barefoot in the grass, hiking in nature, or visualizing roots extending from your feet into the earth.

In honor of the Full Moon we are holding a Full Moon Healing conference call on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 9pm EDT (6pm PST). Click here to register. Suggested class donation $25. Can’t join us live? The call will be recorded and a link sent to you to listen at your convenience.

Full Moon in Libra – March 2013

The Full Moon in Libra on March 27, 2013 reminds us to practice balance and mindful conflict resolution. Which sounds great in theory, but the Full Moon heightens our emotions, challenging us to be peaceful and harmonious.

The polarity between the Aries Sun and the Libra Moon provides expansion and awareness in regards to how we relate to others. Aries adds a fire and flare to relationships, while Libra seeks balance. This dynamic may give you the courage to break off relationships or it may be a time of speaking your truth and building strong alliances.

The actual Full Moon occurs on Wednesday at 5:27am PDT (2:27am EDT). This Full Moon may shock you with surprises or open you up to new insights. Whatever happens, take a deep breath and ask your guides to help you understand the truth of the situation. By taking a brief pause (awareness) you may be able to shift your perspective, resolve emotional distress, or adapt to different situations.

To offset any intensity or drama in your life, spend time in nature or find quiet time for yourself. Shaking free from old paradigms may feel uncomfortable, but know that you are constantly supported by your higher-self. Use the power within you to give you the courage to take your necessary steps and embrace the changes being presented to you during the full moon.

The time after the Full Moon is a good time for shedding and releasing. In honor of the Full Moon we are now holding a Full Moon Healing Circle conference call. This class will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 9pm EDT (6pm PST). Click here to register. Suggested monthly donation $25.

Full Moon in Virgo – 2013

The Full Moon in Virgo on February 25, 2013 at 3:26pm EST (12:26pm PST) is sure to bring perspective. To make the most of this Full Moon, think big. Look at where you’re going versus where you’ve been.

Things come to light under the Full Moon. While the New Moon is introspective, the Full Moon is public. With the Full Moon, energy bursts forth with an often raw, unrefined exuberance. The emotional declarations usually have not been rationalized. They may appear to be “out of the blue,” “loony” and sometimes “immature.” But the surge of emotional energy can inspire healthy action and healing. There is something that needs to get out of your system. Whatever it is needs attention and validation.

The desire for change has been sitting within you for a while now. The Full Moon induces action. Watch any tendencies to project your own state of restlessness or frustrations onto others. Look at any desire to blame outside circumstances or other people for your own aggravations. And notice any irritations you are feeling towards others. This is a good indicator of what you need to work on since the moon reflects issues back to you. For example, if you’re feeling impatient and blaming others, find ways to manage your reaction and practice patience.

With the Full Moon a polarity is created between the sun and moon. This pull causes an element of emotional instability. You may feel torn between focusing on details (Virgo) versus inner development and mystical/spiritual pursuits. It highlights the real (Virgo) and the ideal (Pisces); function versus fantasy. You may experience breakthroughs in the intellectual (Virgo) or emotional (Pisces). And with expansive Jupiter’s influence you may finally move beyond stubborn limiting patterns, habits, and beliefs.

Find balance with this contrast through prayer, meditation, or whatever methods you find effective to help you be grounded and centered. Once balanced, pay attention to whatever patterns, habits or beliefs are being illuminated. Ask the Universe to assist you in releasing it and replace it with what you want. For example, release scarcity and replace with abundance and prosperity. If you want more love, then release resentments and replace with self-love. Whatever you want, find it within before seeking it outside. Validate your progress, and above all be patient.

The Full Moon is a great time to let go of perceived security and attachments, solidifying your belief in a continuous flow of resources. For example, the Universe doesn’t have large bank accounts, there is a continuous flow of money as needed. Stop any thoughts of scarcity with affirmations such as, “The Universe unconditionally supports me financially by __________________.” A good ongoing exercise is to describe all the ways you want the Universe to support you – mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually and financially. Be clear with you intentions, and let go of any preconceived perceptions of “how” you’ll be supported.

With the Full Moon in Virgo be present, playful, flexible, spontaneous, open to the unexpected, and inspired by surprises. Most importantly allow love, change, growth, and deep healing!

Join us for our Healing with Essential Oils class (it’s FREE), held the second Tuesday of each month. Click here to register. Next class – March 12th at 9pm EDT.

New Moon in Aquarius – 2013

The New Moon in Aquarius begins on February 10, 2013 at 2:20am EST (11:20pm Feb 9th PDT). The moon in this expansive air sign breathes innovation and inspiration to uplift your life.

The New Moon is a time of new beginnings, and planting new seeds. It’s a good time to set goals, revisit existing ones, and begin projects. Each new lunar cycle is influenced by a particular astrological sign. And working with the influences of each astrological sign can enhance your ability to manifest what you want.

The theme of the last New Moon in Capricorn focused on creating a solid plan. While this Aquarius New Moon moves your ideas out of the cosmic perspective and into reality. It stretches the imagination with unconventional answers. You may gain amazing insights for your plan. If you’re new to working the the lunar cycles, the Aquarius energy provides unique insights into the bigger picture.

Aquarius is an air element. It functions in the mental realm, working with both sides of the brain. The left side of the brain helps you choose which ideas to focus on to maximize your intentions. While tapping into the vast creativity of the right side of the brain, inspires you to think outside of the box, and reach beyond the box, shooting for the stars. Allow radical thinking and innovative genius ideas to flow with this New Moon.

On the flip side, with the Aquarius energy you could feel flighty and unable to focus. Find ways to anchor the lower three chakras, while still exploring unconventional avenues for your goals.

Suggestions to maximize the Aquarius New Moon energy:

* Brainstorm by yourself or with others to spur new ideas
* Clarify your vision for the year ahead
* Lighten up and listen to your inner wisdom
* Keep a notepad handy to jot down ideas and inspiration
* Expand your vision and possibilities

Aquarius rules the 11th House – The House of Friendship. It’s a great month to expand your friendships by finding groups, clubs, or people who share your interests or attitudes. Aquarius also rules fortunes, benefits from career, and expanding one’s hopes and wishes.

Be social – use the Aquarius New Moon to network with others both personally and professionally. It’s time to acknowledge your position in regards to the group, rather than self-centered pursuits. Goals related to networking, strengthening ties, or making connections with others are enhanced with this lunar cycle. Perhaps you’ll meet people that help take your goals to the next level.

Aquarius also rules the Sixth Chakra – the Third Eye Chakra. The Sixth Chakra is the Spiritual Eye and allows you to “see clearly” and view the big picture. With the Aquarian energy you have support to work beyond the five senses and engage your inner guidance on a deeper level if you let go and listen.

Full Moon in Leo – January 2013

The Full Moon in Leo on January 26, 2013 at 11:38pm EST (8:38pm PST) encourages us to live life to its fullest. Leo brings opportunities to be more expressive, loving, playful, and creative. However, Leo also spurs drama, and it may be difficult to determine an honest emotional reaction from a performance.

The Moon is full when a natural opposition occurs between the Sun and Moon. With the Full Moon in Leo, the Sun is in Aquarius. Aquarius encourages us to explore intellectual pursuits, while Leo helps us follow our heart. You may feel torn between the following your head or heart.

Emotions intensify when the Moon is full. With Leo ruling the heart there is a tremendous opportunity to release emotional pain, especially grief. Let go of the “would have’s and should have’s,” as well as any pain associated with relationships. Instead of resenting painful experiences, look at the lessons you learned. Then ask Universe to assist you in releasing grief and replacing it with unconditional love and joy. It’s not always easy to forgive, but holding onto resentment only hurts you. Find forgiveness for yourself and others so you resolve the past. Until you do, it may be difficult to move forward and truly manifesting what you want.

Lao Tzu said, “Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them – that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.”

Since Leo is the actor, emotions may heat up with drama around the Full Moon. The heart may be open to new experiences and romance or exaggerate self-importance. Overcome any drama and ego-driven reactions by finding ways to stay grounded and focused.

The opportunity for healing with this Full Moon is big. This Leo Full Moon provides a nurturing, mothering quality to it. You may be inspired to release bad habits, resolve emotional wounds, or release addictions. Listen to your heart. You may feel the support you’ve been craving to help you now.

Expand and honor yourself with the Full Moon in Leo. With the focus on the heart, do something to show love and appreciation for you!

Full Moon in Cancer – December 2012

With the Full Moon in sensitive Cancer on Friday December 28, 2012 at 5:21am EST (2:21am PST), emotions are running high. This is the last Full Moon of the year before entering 2013. What are you willing to leave behind?

The Capricorn – Cancer opposition is an interesting one. These two signs intensify the home, emotional intimacy, the need for security, and building a solid foundation. Capricorn represents the patriarch, while Cancer represents the matriarch.

The Cancer – Capricorn opposition illuminates your home base, including those that are close to you, and your sense of belonging. Hidden needs and unsettled emotions are being highlighted with the Full Moon. Also, Saturn and Scorpio create a favorable trine with the moon, where you’ll feel supported to let go of unsatisfying situations, making room for more fulfilling ones.

The Moon in Cancer brings us into balance with compassion, empathy, and emotional intelligence. Cancer finds its strength in emotional independence. It’s a good time to resolve any co-dependent situations and relationships, making room for relationships that are rooted in integrity (Capricorn). Co-dependent situations keep the second/third chakras imbalanced because self-worth is connected to what you do or who needs you. You’ll feel liberated and balanced by releasing these situations.

With the Sun in Capricorn, you are able to find your center. It gives you a strong footing for resolving emotional baggage and conditioned responses. This transition opens you up to seek more fulfilling relationships in 2013.

For our Full Moon in Cancer ritual, we are making lists of what we want to release. Taking our list to the beach to burn it and bury it in the sand along with amethyst crystals. The smoke from the fire releasing our intentions to the Universe, while burying the ashes is symbolic of creating fertile soil for planting new intentions. Amethyst offers powerful spiritual protection and is a stone of meditation, peace and healing.

On the lighter side, the moon also casts its glow upon viable paths for the future. An influx of ideas and inspiration may guide you upon a new course. Consciously integrate the subtle messages and suggestions from Spirit into your daily routine, creating a foundation that supports and sustains your growth.

Be receptive, honor your feelings, and tune into your dreams at this time. Now matter what changes you’re experiencing, stay positive by using affirmations to transmute old patterns into new ones. Look at survival fears that are cropping up and shift your thoughts towards the “Universe supporting” all of your needs. Use this Full Moon in Cancer to find practical ways to feel more secure and emotionally stable.

Winter Solstice 2012

The Winter Solstice on 12.21.12 (in the Northern Hemisphere) is a significant celestial event as it marks the return of more sunlight into each day. For centuries, cultures around the world have been celebrating the Winter Solstice with festivals that honor light.

The 12.21.12 date has long been earmarked as significant date. We have heard it all, from apocalyptic, catastrophic events to a galactic alignment and balance. Which perspective you are leaning towards?

We live in an amazing, yet difficult time. There are unbelievable pressures placed upon us through our own decisions or the decisions of others. But these changes are necessary, as we are in the midst of necessary inner shifts, which bring about changes in the outer world. With these changes it is sometimes difficult to maintain a healthy perspective.

Before we turn the cosmic wheel into another New Year, take time this week for reflection of this powerful “year of change.” What lessons have your learned? What lessons will you carry forward to 2013? What attachments can you release? Where can you love more and fear less?

There is a recurring theme of light and dark that occurs on a physical and symbolic level. For centuries there has been an imbalance between light and darkness. Light is symbolized by love, while darkness is fear. We have a beautiful gift called free agency and always have a choice in everything. But with our choices there are also consequences.

Fear is a powerful force. When we have doubtful and fearful thoughts, everything around us contracts. Doubts become amplified and fear feeds them creating a vicious cycle. As we focus on what we fear, we amplify attracting more experiences where we feel fearful.

How do you dispel fear? By bringing in light. Stand in a dark room and light a candle. As soon as the candle is lit the darkness no longer exists. Light is hope. Light is love. Light is a powerful force, that when chosen consciously, will illuminate everything. With love everything expands.

Each of us carries a light within us. We have a choice to honor and enhance our light by choosing love. We also have the choice to feed our fears. It is up to each of us to choose our intention. Through conscious choices you can enhance your ability to hold more light by practicing love.

Love is the most powerful energy we have. It is something that radiates from within us, and affects all of those around us. It is easy to become imbalanced and only project love to those who show us kindness. But this isn’t true love. Love doesn’t judge, have attachments, or conditions; it simply exists.

As we prepare for the Winter Solstice practice bringing to love and light to those who cause you pain. The light will dispel the darkness and shift the relationship. Begin bringing in more light into your physical body by envisioning sunlight entering the crown of your head and filling your heart. Allow the energy to consume every cell of your body and expand beyond your physical body. This practice creates momentum for the Solstice and the coming year.

This Solstice we want to add to your light by giving away a Winter Solstice gift set. The gift includes DoTerra’s 5ml Citrus Bliss essential oil, a Citrus Bliss bath bar, and Citrus Bliss lotion. The certified therapeutic essential oils DoTerra provides an amazing vibration that helps your physical body resolve emotional wounding and heal.

Citrus Bliss contains wild orange, lemon, grapefruit, mandarin, bergamot, tangerine, clementine, and vanilla bean extract. It’s a great blend for bringing balance to second and third chakras; restoring creativity and motivation. It’s sunny vibration enhances self-worth and self-expression.

Click here for the Winter Solstice Giveaway or for more information about DoTerra essential oils click here.

Choose to bring in more light for yourself and others during the Winter Solstice on 12.21.12 (6:12am EDT 3:12am PDT). Dispel darkness and fear by creating some sort of “light” ritual by lighting candles, building a fire, or envisioning sunlight coming into your heart; asking your Creator for peace, love, and joy in your world!

Happy Holidays from the New Moon Manifesting Staff!

Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Gemini – 2012

A Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse takes place on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at 9:46am EST (6:46am PST). With this Full Moon we are influenced by the multifaceted air sign Gemini, while the sun is in opinionated Sagittarius.

The Gemini-Sagittarius polarity focuses on our mental aspects; Gemini represents the lower mind and Sagittarius represents the higher mind. The conflict with this full moon is between thinking logically and having absolute answers (Gemini) versus diversity of ideas, solutions, and adventures (Sagittarius). Tendencies that take you too far into either end of the spectrum create imbalance. Ultimately the goal with any full moon is to find balance between the pull of both influences.

A Full Moon is the time to get connected. Information from our guides is heightened during this time so tune in to the subtle messages and promptings. This Full Moon in Gemini is about communication, adventure, and attitude. There is an energy building inside that needs to be revealed and expressed. Over the next two weeks you may have clarity and understanding about what that means for you.

The full moon is an emotional time; a time of healing, passion, romance, and relationships. The full moon “illuminates” what emotional wounding needs our attention, what direction we need to follow, what emotions need to be expressed, or what needs to be released from our system.

It’s a great time to create a ritual of releasing whatever emotions are highlighted and releasing them. This could be done by writing down what you wish to release and burning the list. With this exercise your intentions are released with the smoke for the Universe to assist you with resolving. Your intentions can include physical issues, emotional wounding, spiritual distress, fears, doubts, un-forgiveness, judgments, blame, etc. Ask your Creator for clarity in understand whatever stands between you and what you want.

As the moon travels through the earth’s shadow a lunar eclipse occurs. This may make you more sensitive to issues related to the collective consciousness. In my opinion, logical energy has dominated humanity for several thousands of years. It’s time for a shift in consciousness, using the higher mind and tapping into the higher-self. And this Full Moon has the power to do it. Gemini’s influence will be slightly diminished by the eclipse, giving Sagittarius the opportunity to spur ingenious solutions. Be alert to what new ideas or direction you’re being guided towards. The solutions may surprise and create astounding results!

To help you transmute self-sabotaging behaviors, old habits, and limiting beliefs add the essential oil blend Zendocrine from doTerra. It contains clove, grapefruit, rosemary, and geranium to help with the emotional cleansing. It is especially helpful for lifestyle changes such as leaving toxic relationships, altering diet, stopping addictive behaviors, and supporting the body during times of major transition. For more information click here or contact our office for other oils to support your energetic healing.

New Moon in Scorpio – 2012

Be prepared to dig deep into the emotional pools with the New Moon in Scorpio on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 5:08pm EST (2:08pm PST). Our awareness is turned inward with transformative Scorpio as it pushes us to remove illusions and find our authentic selves.

Scorpio is a water sign, which rules our emotions. Experiencing a full range of emotions is a blessing and a curse of the human experience. Without an adequate understanding of how to process emotions they often get stuck within the physical body. With Scorpio we are perfectly positioned for a personal renewal at the deepest levels. We are prompted to let go of the stale behaviors and unresolved emotions in order to openly receive healthier perspectives. When we learn how to process what we are feeling instead of allowing the vibration of the emotions to stagnate within us, we become masters of our emotions instead of being controlled by them.

The New Moon in Scorpio is intensified with the Solar Eclipse that occurs on Wednesday November 14, 2012. Solar Eclipses occur with a New Moon. When the moon covers the sun during an eclipse was are prompted to go deeper within to clean out all the emotional clogs that hold us back from manifesting our deepest desires. Your inner wisdom is encouraging you to face and resolve them. Ask for guidance regarding the best way to face your issues. You’ll be amazed at the support you’ll receive when you follow through. When you avoid cleaning out the gunk, it continues to haunt you.

Every new moon is a time of new beginnings, rebirth, and new opportunities. It’s a great time to begin new projects, set new goals, and revisit existing ones. To get the most out of this new moon consider setting goals that revolve around deep emotional purification. What resentments, un-forgiveness, and other emotions do you hold onto? Where do you react with fear, judgment, guilt, or shame? Do you want to manifest more? Then Scorpio is the perfect place to surrender.

Scorpio rules the Eighth House. The Eighth House is about support we receive from others. It is the house of regeneration – and covers death, sex, legal issues, and metaphysics. The Eighth House is where a person is purified through an intense meeting or crisis. Metaphorically speaking, this can be seen as a deep crisis that assists a person in purging their negativity. This crisis can be seen in a jealous rage, hatred, or possessiveness. Everything about this House is felt at a deep level; a person will give up everything to have their desired results. Its focus is on transforming obstacles so it can create what it desires.

Join us in honoring the New Moon in Scorpio for a live FREE conference call on Monday, November 12, 2012 at 9pm EDT (6pm PDT). Full Moon October 2012 – Taurus

The comfort seeking Taurus Full Moon stirs up emotions this week as the Moon reaches its peak on Monday, October 29, 2012 at 3:50pm EDT (12:50pm PDT). The Moon in Taurus brings to light issues related to security, loyalty, values, finances, body image, and desire. The Full Moon is illuminating what is most important for you to face. Use these messages to make conscious choices related to healing them.

With the moon in Taurus and the sun in Scorpio you may be drawn towards experiences and people that provide emotional stability and support. Its a great time to look at your true support system, letting go of people that have alternative motives.

The sun in Scorpio encourages to go deep within and explore our passions, intensity, and deep healing, while the moon in Taurus reminds us to let go of rigidity, stubbornness, and resistance to change. Scorpio creates intense opportunities for transformation to take place – shedding light upon the dark corners of the unconscious. It’s a great time to use the powerful Hunter’s Moon to highlight the shadow areas to bring optimal emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual health.

Recognizing this fact may help you resolve stubbornness and the inability to let go, allowing transformation and healing.

We are being bathed in the Full Moon in Taurus for the next couple of days.
