The New Moon in Aquarius begins on February 10, 2013 at 2:20am EST (11:20pm Feb 9th PDT). The moon in this expansive air sign breathes innovation and inspiration to uplift your life.
The New Moon is a time of new beginnings, and planting new seeds. It’s a good time to set goals, revisit existing ones, and begin projects. Each new lunar cycle is influenced by a particular astrological sign. And working with the influences of each astrological sign can enhance your ability to manifest what you want.
The theme of the last New Moon in Capricorn focused on creating a solid plan. While this Aquarius New Moon moves your ideas out of the cosmic perspective and into reality. It stretches the imagination with unconventional answers. You may gain amazing insights for your plan. If you’re new to working the the lunar cycles, the Aquarius energy provides unique insights into the bigger picture.
Aquarius is an air element. It functions in the mental realm, working with both sides of the brain. The left side of the brain helps you choose which ideas to focus on to maximize your intentions. While tapping into the vast creativity of the right side of the brain, inspires you to think outside of the box, and reach beyond the box, shooting for the stars. Allow radical thinking and innovative genius ideas to flow with this New Moon.
On the flip side, with the Aquarius energy you could feel flighty and unable to focus. Find ways to anchor the lower three chakras, while still exploring unconventional avenues for your goals.
Suggestions to maximize the Aquarius New Moon energy:
* Brainstorm by yourself or with others to spur new ideas
* Clarify your vision for the year ahead
* Lighten up and listen to your inner wisdom
* Keep a notepad handy to jot down ideas and inspiration
* Expand your vision and possibilities
Aquarius rules the 11th House – The House of Friendship. It’s a great month to expand your friendships by finding groups, clubs, or people who share your interests or attitudes. Aquarius also rules fortunes, benefits from career, and expanding one’s hopes and wishes.
Be social – use the Aquarius New Moon to network with others both personally and professionally. It’s time to acknowledge your position in regards to the group, rather than self-centered pursuits. Goals related to networking, strengthening ties, or making connections with others are enhanced with this lunar cycle. Perhaps you’ll meet people that help take your goals to the next level.
Aquarius also rules the Sixth Chakra – the Third Eye Chakra. The Sixth Chakra is the Spiritual Eye and allows you to “see clearly” and view the big picture. With the Aquarian energy you have support to work beyond the five senses and engage your inner guidance on a deeper level if you let go and listen.
In honor of the New Moon we will be holding a FREE live conference call (long distance charges apply) on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 8:30 pm EST (5:30 pm PST). During the call we will talk more about the Aquarius New Moon, discuss ways to enhance the manifesting process, and provide a guided imagery meditation to integrate your goals into the subconscious. With the Full Moon in sensitive Cancer on Friday December 28, 2012 at 5:21am EST (2:21am PST), emotions are running high. This is the last Full Moon of the year before entering 2013. What are you willing to leave behind?
The Capricorn – Cancer opposition is an interesting one. These two signs intensify the home, emotional intimacy, the need for security, and building a solid foundation. Capricorn represents the patriarch, while Cancer represents the matriarch.
The Cancer – Capricorn opposition illuminates your home base, including those that are close to you, and your sense of belonging. Hidden needs and unsettled emotions are being highlighted with the Full Moon. Also, Saturn and Scorpio create a favorable trine with the moon, where you’ll feel supported to let go of unsatisfying situations, making room for more fulfilling ones.
The Moon in Cancer brings us into balance with compassion, empathy, and emotional intelligence. Cancer finds its strength in emotional independence. It’s a good time to resolve any co-dependent situations and relationships, making room for relationships that are rooted in integrity (Capricorn). Co-dependent situations keep the second/third chakras imbalanced because self-worth is connected to what you do or who needs you. You’ll feel liberated and balanced by releasing these situations.
With the Sun in Capricorn, you are able to find your center. It gives you a strong footing for resolving emotional baggage and conditioned responses. This transition opens you up to seek more fulfilling relationships in 2013.
For our Full Moon in Cancer ritual, we are making lists of what we want to release. Taking our list to the beach to burn it and bury it in the sand along with amethyst crystals. The smoke from the fire releasing our intentions to the Universe, while burying the ashes is symbolic of creating fertile soil for planting new intentions. Amethyst offers powerful spiritual protection and is a stone of meditation, peace and healing.
On the lighter side, the moon also casts its glow upon viable paths for the future. An influx of ideas and inspiration may guide you upon a new course. Consciously integrate the subtle messages and suggestions from Spirit into your daily routine, creating a foundation that supports and sustains your growth.
Be receptive, honor your feelings, and tune into your dreams at this time. Now matter what changes you’re experiencing, stay positive by using affirmations to transmute old patterns into new ones. Look at survival fears that are cropping up and shift your thoughts towards the “Universe supporting” all of your needs. Use this Full Moon in Cancer to find practical ways to feel more secure and emotionally stable.

This month’s New Moon in Sagittarius occurs on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 3:42am EDT (12:32am PDT). Sagittarius brings with it adventure, curiosity, exploration, and travel.
Each New Moon cycle is the perfect time to ignite new projects, plant new seeds, or revisit existing goals. As we finish up 2012, use this New Moon as an opportunity to finish up any last projects, healing or allow necessary changes to transpire so you open the channels for a New Year, and New You. Spend time over the next couple of days dreaming BIG; begin planning and planting what you want to create for 2013.
The New Moon in Sagittarius invites honesty and truth into the picture. It’s a good time to ask your Creator to “see your truth” and understand the limiting beliefs that hold you back from achieving what you want. Sagittarius is the archer, and teaches us to rise above limitations related to outdated belief systems, thoughts, and patterns. It’s time to dart into new territories and expand your thoughts, beliefs, and patterns.
Sagittarius is a risk-taker. It emphasizes the characteristics of trust, faith, and optimism. Use its influence to build your faith and restore optimism. The stage is being set to begin the next act, and it’s time to stop talking about what you want and get the show on the road. You’ll be inspired to reach beyond what you believed was possible with fiery Sagittarius combined with Uranus. Ask yourself, “Why do I fear letting go?” In asking the questions you’ll shift your results.
Sagittarius rules the 9th House – the House of Philosophy. Integrating goals related to foreign and domestic travel, culture, higher education, expanding knowledge, and my personal favorite – experience through expansion. Do you have goals related to expanding your career through additional education? Then this New Moon is the time to explore your options. Interested in traveling more? Set your sights on researching locations or meditate on places that inspire or pique your curiosity.
As 2012 comes to a close, we are buttoning up the year of rapid change in preparation for 2013; the year of balance, love harmony, and communication (more information about the New Year coming soon). Whatever you can finish up and leave behind in 2012, cleans the slate for an exciting New Year.

Wow! Where has the time gone? The Autumnal Equinox is quickly approaching, occurring on Saturday September 22, 2012 at 10:49am EDT (7:49am PDT). Fall is the time of the harvest. A time of gathering and preparing for the long night’s of winter. It brings a time of introspection; reviewing your progress regarding seeds planted in the Spring.
As the seasons begin to change I’m reminded that in numerology 2012 is the year of change. It carries the vibration of the number 5 = 2+0+1+2. In addition to the 5 vibration being about change, it is also about adventure, freedom, versatility, resourcefulness, and curiosity. As you look back over the past six months how has your life changed? What adventures are in the works? What new interests do you have? What has piqued your curiosity?
Many of you have been personally experiencing BIG changes and are still transitioning through them. Some changes have been your choice and others have been thrust upon you. Difficult as it may seem, these changes are necessary for your evolution and growth (although it may not feel like it). Einstein said, “The only constant is change.”
There are two choices when facing change
1) Embrace it
2) Resist it
Even if you resist it, it is still going to take place. So why resist?
The Autumnal Equinox marks one the most powerful gateways for change and healing during 2012. Does everything feel more accelerated in your life? If you learn to work with the flow and rhythm of life, then you will navigate through challenges and changes more quickly. Even healing is transpiring in a shorter time frame. It’s amazing to see people and their BIG transitions this year!
During this time you may feel very heavy and dense. These are the old emotions, patterns, beliefs, and thoughts that still need to be resolved and released. Instead of resisting the process, embrace it by envisioning more light entering your body and filling every cell with golden sunshine. You’ll be amazed at how much better you will feel with this simple exercise.
For those of you who want to resolve emotional wounding and accelerate the healing process, look into joining the Chakra Balancing and Emotional Healing course that begins October 2, 2012. Deadline for registration is September 26, 2012.
Are you thinking, “Great, here is another healing product. I’ve read so many books and attended classes, yet things don’t seem any better.” Before you discount this Chakra Balancing and Emotional Healing class, take a moment in meditation and ask yourself, “Is it for my highest good to take this class?” Whatever is your first thought or impression – follow it. This class is seven weeks of intuitive guidance that will help you work through whatever issues you’re healing. Whether it’s your own wounding, issues transferred from your ancestors through your DNA, or experiences from other lifetimes, 2012 is the year to make it happen.
Use this powerful gateway of the Autumnal Equinox to make the changes you want. Join us for Chakra Balancing and Emotional Healing course.

During August 2012 we experience a unique event with two Full Moons. The first full moon occurred on August 1st, with the second is happening on August 31st. When this occurs the second one is called a “blue moon.” The blue moon name does not mean the moon has a blue hue, it is simply a term used when two full moons occur during a calendar month. The next blue moon occurs in July 2015.
The exact time of the Full Moon is on August 31, 2012 at 9:58am EDT (6:58am PDT). It moves into the astrological sign of Pisces. Emotional wounds may weigh you down during this “Blue Moon” because Pisces is prone to feeling victimized. This moon is conjunct Chiron, which represents the ” original wound” and Neptune, which tends to cloud issues. You may feel like you’re caught in a maze and don’t know which way to turn.
Pisces also rules the 12th House – The House of Self-Imprisonment. This could be a very interesting time. For those of you who are doing the healing work, it will be a great time of releasing ties to your original wound, old emotions, and self-imposed limitations. Generally Pisces brings an element of elusiveness and secrets. This will be further clouded by Neptune’s presence. Be cautious to make rash decisions, because things may not be as they seem. It’s a great moon to go into the depths of your soul and fish around for emotions fragmentation and spiritual distress that have occurred in this and other lifetimes.
For those who are avoiding healing work, it may be thrust upon you with the Full Moon. Keep in mind when going through transitions, either chosen by you or by others, you’re attitude towards the change determines the outcome. You can choose to go through situations with anger, strife, and stress, or see the opportunity for healing, growth, and gratitude.
During any Full Moon emotions are brought to light by the reflection of the illuminated moon. Using this time to release unresolved emotions is a sure-fire way to enhance your ability to manifest. We are emotional beings and need to learn how to process the “energy in motion” (E-motion) that has become stagnant or stuck in the body. Once the e-motions have been resolved you feel lighter, more energetic, free, and you’re able to hold more light.
Creating a ritual around the Full Moon is a great way to progressively heal. By following the same practice each month, you’ll create a rhythm and flow with the healing process. Here are some suggestions for Full Moon healing:
1) A few days prior to the Full Moon take note of recurring emotions or experiences
2) Identify specific emotions through journaling and introspection
3) Make a list of emotions you want to release
4) Make a list of emotions you want to replace them with
5) Bless the list calling in your Creator, guides, angels, ancestors, and anyone else that is here for your highest healing
6) Create a burning ceremony using the fire to release the emotions into the Universe and replacing them with the new ones
7) See yourself letting go of the emotions that you’re releasing
8) Shift old patterns through affirmations when you catch yourself responding to the patterns
8) Express gratitude for support and validation during your transitions
Healing is your responsibility. Instead of avoiding it, take charge and face the fears that hold you back from leading an Empowered Life! Use the power of the Full Moon (Blue Moon) in Pisces to boost your healing.

This New Moon enters the astrological sign of Pisces. The Pisces energy is fluid and adaptable; blending into any situation. It is one of the most powerful feminine energies of all the astrological signs. Pisces brings with it the message of unity – we are one. And what better time for each of us to embrace our feminine qualities than during this New Moon.
The dreamy sign of Pisces helps us open our hearts and soften our edges; learning to go with the flow! Essentially during this month you can get to the heart of the matter; finding the deep emotions that need resolution. It’s time to be more loving to yourself and others. This New Moon gives us courage to overcome addictions, destructive behaviors, or habits that hinder us from reaching our true potential.
This lunar cycle may be very fulfilling as it allows us to reach our highest level of spirituality and consciousness – connecting with God on a deeper level. It may be a time where creativity is high and consciousness shifts creating a spiritual awakening.
With the support of the Pisces energy, now is the perfect time to drift with the tides of change. During this month allow yourself to float with the Universal healing energy. Forgiving those who you still harbor resentments towards and releasing blame are key components to letting go of the past.

On a recent trip to Avila Beach on California’s central coast, I stopped at a retreat center to walk the rock lined maze called a labyrinth. As the sun streamed through the trees and the birds encouragingly chirped, I set my intentions. “What does it take to experience unconditional love?”
Unconditional love is a term that is thrown around, yet few have ever fully experienced it. We are all looking to heal inner wounds, and for someone to kiss away the pain with love.
Love often comes with expectations, attachments, and hidden agendas. Are we looking for something outside to fill the void within? That isn’t love. Are we looking for something we believe is missing? That isn’t love. How can we shift old patterns and begin to love ourselves?
When we create unrealistic expectations of how another person “should” treat us, we set ourselves up for disappointment. We are looking for something outside of ourselves, instead of finding it within.
Unconditional love can only be expressed when we have experienced it for ourselves. It begins by supporting ourselves. Inner thoughts, behavior, and emotions are aligned with building self-confidence and valuing ourselves, instead of defeating and depleting.
Also, unconditional love stems from forgiving ourselves and others. Finding true forgiveness opens the door to compassion and understanding. Once we are compassionate and understanding with ourselves, we are compassionate with others.
Forgiveness is the key that unlocks the door to unconditional love. According to Lewis B. Smedes, “Forgiving does not erase the bitter past. A healed memory is not a deleted memory. Forgiving creates a new way to remember. We change the memory of our past into a hope for our future.” Ultimately we release the pain and emotion behind an incident and see it through a new lens.
Once our perspective changes, everything changes!
Another key to experiencing unconditional love is acceptance. Accept who you are today. Of course we have the ability to change, but accept the person you are today instead of waiting until the perfect job, perfect mate, or whatever comes to make your life perfect. Once we achieve 100% acceptance of ourselves we finally find unconditional love. We are no longer searching for perfection, be perfection comes when we accept ourselves.
Take time to explore self-love, forgiveness, and acceptance this month. You’ll discover the true meaning of unconditional love! And once you experience it within, you’ll be able to share unconditional love with others. Keep in mind when you’re vibrating at a rate of unconditional love you attract unconditional love!
Need help in discovering and healing self-defeating thoughts, emotions, or behaviors? Contact our office to schedule a personal session.
We’ve entered “The Month of Love”. I have many fond memories of Valentine’s Day – decorating boxes for my classmates to drop Valentine’s cards in, special surprises from my parents, and the special snowflake type Valentine’s my grandma used to make with $1 tuck behind the chocolate-marshmallow heart.
People have been searching for love. Whether it’s feeling love from family, friends, or an intimate partner, love for many has been elusive.
Since birth, we have looked to others to provide us with nourishment for our growth, both physically and emotionally. But as adults, we have a choice to shift this pattern to something that is more fulfilling. Instead of seeking love from others, nurture love within.
At first this may be a difficult task. Our ego and mind can be our worst enemies. There is a constantly bombardment of all the reasons we are unlovable, inadequate, or unimportant. But these lies keep us feeling small and hold us back for experiencing love. If you’re feeling unlovable inside, then how can you attract love from other people?
Self-love is one of the most powerful tools we can posses. Yet, it is often sought instead of cultivated within. Without self-love we cannot truly love another. We expect others love us and fill the void of self-love. We find it difficult to accept the fact that it’s necessary to love ourselves before we can adequately express love to others. This month practice loving and nurturing yourself. Return to a child-like state where you look at yourself and the world differently.
As we gain self-love we shift our inner vibration and change what we attract. With self-love perspectives change; we experience flow instead of fear and resistance. Each day this month do something loving for yourself. Stop the inner banter, do something you’ve always wanted to try, write kind things about yourself, explore your dreams… and most importantly recognize you have an important life purpose!
Create a new habit this month by being kind and loving to yourself during “The Month of Love!” You’ll attract more when you vibrate from a place of Love.
What will you do for yourself this month?
With the New Moon in Sagittarius it’s a time to tune into our truth.
As a foundation is crumbling, life may feel unstable. Know that your Creator has a wonderful plan in store for you. Sagittarius brings with it the energy of faith in the process, and trust the outcome will be better than you could imagine. If you feel out of sorts, fearful, stubborn, doubting in the timing or the process, then use affirmations and meditation to keep you on track.
Affirmations for New Moon in Sagittarius:
I easily hit the target
I am open and decisive regarding my goals
I am trusting and supported by my guides, teachers, and others assisting with my goals
I take decisive action towards my goals
