Winter Solstice 2012

The Winter Solstice on 12.21.12 (in the Northern Hemisphere) is a significant celestial event as it marks the return of more sunlight into each day. For centuries, cultures around the world have been celebrating the Winter Solstice with festivals that honor light.

The 12.21.12 date has long been earmarked as significant date. We have heard it all, from apocalyptic, catastrophic events to a galactic alignment and balance. Which perspective you are leaning towards?

We live in an amazing, yet difficult time. There are unbelievable pressures placed upon us through our own decisions or the decisions of others. But these changes are necessary, as we are in the midst of necessary inner shifts, which bring about changes in the outer world. With these changes it is sometimes difficult to maintain a healthy perspective.

Before we turn the cosmic wheel into another New Year, take time this week for reflection of this powerful “year of change.” What lessons have your learned? What lessons will you carry forward to 2013? What attachments can you release? Where can you love more and fear less?

There is a recurring theme of light and dark that occurs on a physical and symbolic level. For centuries there has been an imbalance between light and darkness. Light is symbolized by love, while darkness is fear. We have a beautiful gift called free agency and always have a choice in everything. But with our choices there are also consequences.

Fear is a powerful force. When we have doubtful and fearful thoughts, everything around us contracts. Doubts become amplified and fear feeds them creating a vicious cycle. As we focus on what we fear, we amplify attracting more experiences where we feel fearful.

How do you dispel fear? By bringing in light. Stand in a dark room and light a candle. As soon as the candle is lit the darkness no longer exists. Light is hope. Light is love. Light is a powerful force, that when chosen consciously, will illuminate everything. With love everything expands.

Each of us carries a light within us. We have a choice to honor and enhance our light by choosing love. We also have the choice to feed our fears. It is up to each of us to choose our intention. Through conscious choices you can enhance your ability to hold more light by practicing love.

Love is the most powerful energy we have. It is something that radiates from within us, and affects all of those around us. It is easy to become imbalanced and only project love to those who show us kindness. But this isn’t true love. Love doesn’t judge, have attachments, or conditions; it simply exists.

As we prepare for the Winter Solstice practice bringing to love and light to those who cause you pain. The light will dispel the darkness and shift the relationship. Begin bringing in more light into your physical body by envisioning sunlight entering the crown of your head and filling your heart. Allow the energy to consume every cell of your body and expand beyond your physical body. This practice creates momentum for the Solstice and the coming year.

This Solstice we want to add to your light by giving away a Winter Solstice gift set. The gift includes DoTerra’s 5ml Citrus Bliss essential oil, a Citrus Bliss bath bar, and Citrus Bliss lotion. The certified therapeutic essential oils DoTerra provides an amazing vibration that helps your physical body resolve emotional wounding and heal.

Autumnal (Fall) Equinox 2012

Wow! Where has the time gone? The Autumnal Equinox is quickly approaching, occurring on Saturday September 22, 2012 at 10:49am EDT (7:49am PDT). Fall is the time of the harvest. A time of gathering and preparing for the long night’s of winter. It brings a time of introspection; reviewing your progress regarding seeds planted in the Spring.

As the seasons begin to change I’m reminded that in numerology 2012 is the year of change. It carries the vibration of the number 5 = 2+0+1+2. In addition to the 5 vibration being about change, it is also about adventure, freedom, versatility, resourcefulness, and curiosity. As you look back over the past six months how has your life changed? What adventures are in the works? What new interests do you have? What has piqued your curiosity?

Many of you have been personally experiencing BIG changes and are still transitioning through them. Some changes have been your choice and others have been thrust upon you. Difficult as it may seem, these changes are necessary for your evolution and growth (although it may not feel like it). Einstein said, “The only constant is change.”

There are two choices when facing change
1) Embrace it
2) Resist it

Even if you resist it, it is still going to take place. So why resist?

The Autumnal Equinox marks one the most powerful gateways for change and healing during 2012. Does everything feel more accelerated in your life? If you learn to work with the flow and rhythm of life, then you will navigate through challenges and changes more quickly. Even healing is transpiring in a shorter time frame. It’s amazing to see people and their BIG transitions this year!

During this time you may feel very heavy and dense. These are the old emotions, patterns, beliefs, and thoughts that still need to be resolved and released. Instead of resisting the process, embrace it by envisioning more light entering your body and filling every cell with golden sunshine. You’ll be amazed at how much better you will feel with this simple exercise.

For those of you who want to resolve emotional wounding and accelerate the healing process, look into joining the Chakra Balancing and Emotional Healing course that begins October 2, 2012. Deadline for registration is September 26, 2012.

Are you thinking, “Great, here is another healing product. I’ve read so many books and attended classes, yet things don’t seem any better.” Before you discount this Chakra Balancing and Emotional Healing class, take a moment in meditation and ask yourself, “Is it for my highest good to take this class?” Whatever is your first thought or impression – follow it. This class is seven weeks of intuitive guidance that will help you work through whatever issues you’re healing. Whether it’s your own wounding, issues transferred from your ancestors through your DNA, or experiences from other lifetimes, 2012 is the year to make it happen.

Full Moon – August 31 2012

During August 2012 we experience a unique event with two Full Moons. The first full moon occurred on August 1st, with the second is happening on August 31st. When this occurs the second one is called a “blue moon.” The blue moon name does not mean the moon has a blue hue, it is simply a term used when two full moons occur during a calendar month. The next blue moon occurs in July 2015.

The exact time of the Full Moon is on August 31, 2012 at 9:58am EDT (6:58am PDT). It moves into the astrological sign of Pisces. Emotional wounds may weigh you down during this “Blue Moon” because Pisces is prone to feeling victimized. This moon is conjunct Chiron, which represents the ” original wound” and Neptune, which tends to cloud issues. You may feel like you’re caught in a maze and don’t know which way to turn.

Pisces also rules the 12th House – The House of Self-Imprisonment. This could be a very interesting time. For those of you who are doing the healing work, it will be a great time of releasing ties to your original wound, old emotions, and self-imposed limitations. Generally Pisces brings an element of elusiveness and secrets. This will be further clouded by Neptune’s presence. Be cautious to make rash decisions, because things may not be as they seem. It’s a great moon to go into the depths of your soul and fish around for emotions fragmentation and spiritual distress that have occurred in this and other lifetimes.

For those who are avoiding healing work, it may be thrust upon you with the Full Moon. Keep in mind when going through transitions, either chosen by you or by others, you’re attitude towards the change determines the outcome. You can choose to go through situations with anger, strife, and stress, or see the opportunity for healing, growth, and gratitude.

During any Full Moon emotions are brought to light by the reflection of the illuminated moon. Using this time to release unresolved emotions is a sure-fire way to enhance your ability to manifest. We are emotional beings and need to learn how to process the “energy in motion” (E-motion) that has become stagnant or stuck in the body. Once the e-motions have been resolved you feel lighter, more energetic, free, and you’re able to hold more light.

Creating a ritual around the Full Moon is a great way to progressively heal. By following the same practice each month, you’ll create a rhythm and flow with the healing process. Here are some suggestions for Full Moon healing:

1) A few days prior to the Full Moon take note of recurring emotions or experiences
2) Identify specific emotions through journaling and introspection
3) Make a list of emotions you want to release
4) Make a list of emotions you want to replace them with
5) Bless the list calling in your Creator, guides, angels, ancestors, and anyone else that is here for your highest healing
6) Create a burning ceremony using the fire to release the emotions into the Universe and replacing them with the new ones
7) See yourself letting go of the emotions that you’re releasing
8) Shift old patterns through affirmations when you catch yourself responding to the patterns
8) Express gratitude for support and validation during your transitions

Healing is your responsibility. Instead of avoiding it, take charge and face the fears that hold you back from leading an Empowered Life! Use the power of the Full Moon (Blue Moon) in Pisces to boost your healing.

Are you looking for tools to enhance your emotional healing and improve your ability to manifest? Check out our 7-week “Emotional Healing and Chakra Balancing” class that begins October 2, 2012. For additional information visit our events page or contact our office for a private session.

Cheers to your health and healing!

Full Moon in Virgo 2012

FullMoon on NewMoonManifesting.comThe moon reaches its full illumination on Thursday March 8, 2012 at 4:41am EST (1:41am PST). This Full Moon in Virgo is a great time to review your New Moon goals and adjust your wishes. It’s an emotional time emphasizing romance and relationships.

This Full Moon is a balancing act between two mutable signs Pisces and Virgo. It may bring to light frustrations that impede you, habits that limit your progress, and areas where you need more discipline. It’s time to focus on your own journey and kick out any voices (inside or out) that keep you swimming in fear and denial.

The Full Moon will also enlighten what still needs to be healed within us both psychically (Pisces) and physically (Virgo). Finding balance between day-to-day functions and routines (Virgo) while expanding our spirituality and vision (Pisces) may be a challenge. Some sort of crisis or expanded awareness provides an opportunity to explore our emotional needs, or lead us on an unexpected or unconventional course.

Are you fed up with all the drama? With the help of Mars in Pisces, it’s a time to break out and break free. The old patterns have to be broken before new pathways can emerge. Instead of reacting to unexpected changes and challenges, take a step back, take a deep breath, and ask yourself, “What is emerging for my highest good out of this situation?” You’ll be amazed how perceptions shift and you see things differently providing a segway to a bright future.

Changes are happening and you can choose to embrace or resist them. They are going to happen whether you’re ready or not. Resistance is futile and only creates frustration. You’re being guided on a path that is for your highest good. Learn to let go, and go with the flow. Embrace your fears by packing them up and bringing them with you. By simply acknowledging them your perceptions of them will change. This Full Moon is very supportive and you may find you have more strength than you realized ;-) .

It’s time to express yourself, letting the lid off of everything you’ve been holding inside. Over the next couple of weeks be open to what is expanding in your world. You’ll be amazed if you go with the flow. Use this Full Moon in Virgo to express what emotions are showing up. By expressing your emotions you’ll speak your truth, and stand in your power. Once you reclaim your power you attract and manifest more.

Giving Up the Blame Game

We live in a time where few people take responsibility for what is going on with their life. It’s easier to blame someone else for why things are not working out. However, when we blame others we also dis-empower ourselves. We give power to the person we blame. Blame throws us into the mucky waters of negativity. It lowers our vibration and self-worth. With blame come resentment, judgment, and other lower vibrating emotions.

Stop for a moment and think who you are blaming for the circumstances in your life right now. Maybe your mother was critical. Do you blame her for your depression or inability to succeed? Perhaps your ex-husband left you penniless. Do you blame him for your current economic situation? We all have experiences to help us heal karmic contracts and learn compassion. Stop allowing other people to control your emotions and success by giving up the blame game!

Within each of us lies a “shadow side.” It is often denied, ignored, and remains deeply hidden. We often deny it because we want to feel good about ourselves. In fact, we avoid situations and people that trigger it so we feel good. But this doesn’t help us grow. The shadow side lies hidden. When it is triggered, people panic.

By denying the shadow side we live superficially; a state of complacency, with little depth to life. Complacency is a belief that one is superior, a sense of smugness, or self-righteousness. Each of these words describes the ego versus supporting the soul. And when we avoid healing our shadow side, the Universe shakes things up by sending us teachers to shine light on the darkness that still need to be resolved.

Our teachers show up as lovers, friends, family members, bosses, co-workers, and anyone else that triggers the “scary” darkness. The ego in a self-preservation attempt avoids the reflection of the teacher by blaming them for the emotions. But they are here to show us what still needs to be resolved so we may truly experience self-love, self-compassion, and compassion for others. As the light shines upon the darkness, we have a choice to fight, flee, or learn the lesson. When we consciously choose to learn the lesson we learn to love ourselves in spite of our flaws and annoying traits. And once this happens we can experience true love and compassion for others.

When you learn to move beyond blame, you see your teachers as an opportunity to understand yourself more deeply and heal emotional wounds that inhibit you from attracting what you want. These people are in your life for a reason. They show you the things that need attention and what needs to change.

Taking responsibility for your life is empowering. We have all been given the wisdom to know what is necessary to heal ourselves. But in an effort to avoid pain we have shut down the connection with the Inner Wisdom. As people show up and trigger your emotions look at them from a different perspective. They are the messages from within that you are avoiding.

Instead of blaming them, choose to respond differently:

Notice when emotions are being triggered
Write down the emotions you feel
Take a few moments of quiet time to feel the emotions within your body
Ask for assistance from your Inner Wisdom for direction on releasing/healing them
Listen for guidance for your path
Write down your first impression (without discounting or denying it)
Discern for additional clarity – if still confused
Co-create your life
Follow your heart
Believe in yourself
Trust yourself and your Inner Voice

Stop playing the blame game! It becomes a vicious vortex where nobody wins. It’s time to heal. It’s time to make yourself happy and follow your dreams. It’s time to be true to yourself and create your own happiness!

Need help in getting out of your life patterns so you manifest more? Contact our office for a local or distant healing session. Your life is waiting for you!

Cancer Full Moon – 2012

Full Moon on NewMoonManifesting.comThe first Full Moon of the New Year highlights the opposition between Capricorn and Cancer on Monday January 9, 2012 at 2:32am ET (Jan 8th at 11:32pm PT). The Full Moon can be a time of inspiration and enlightenment, or a source of anxiety and fear.

The Capricorn – Cancer opposition is an interesting one. These two signs intensify the home, emotional intimacy, need for security, and building a solid foundation. Capricorn represents the patriarch, while Cancer represents the matriarch. Cancer moon “feels” what others need, and have a strong desire to fulfill it. The Capricorn masculine energy often overpowers the Cancer feminine moon because of the belief that all things masculine are more worthwhile than the feminine attributes. But this is shifting on a macro-cosmic and micro-cosmic level. So whether you’re male or female, learn to honor, embrace and integrate feminine characteristics.

This can be done by looking at what is happening around you and consciously nurture yourself and others in a new way. Ask your Creator when it’s time to step in and help, when to offer advice, or when it’s necessary to sit back and watch, allowing things to unfold. These are the characteristics of a great mother.

During this Full Moon, allow your artistic side to step forth and expand your creativity. Think outside the box. Do something out of character or eccentric. Try something new. Do something that shakes up the old routine to build a new foundation.

The Full Moon reveals our emotional character and deeper needs. Beliefs, emotions, and patterns that have been in the shadows are enlightened by the moons reflection. The moon also highlights security fears and compulsive reactions. Take note of what is still lurking in the shadows, and take steps towards confronting fears and resolving emotional distress.

On the lighter side, the moon also casts its glow upon viable paths for the future. An influx of ideas and inspiration may guide you upon a new course. Consciously integrate the subtle messages and suggestions from Spirit into your daily routine, creating a foundation that supports and sustains your growth.

Be receptive, honor your feelings, and tune into your dreams at this time. Now matter what changes you’re experiencing, stay positive by using affirmations to transmute old patterns into new ones.

Here are some suggestions for Cancer Full Moon Affirmations or use them as a foundation to create your own:

– I easily flow with change

– I faithfully follow my inner wisdom

– I lovingly nurture myself, my dreams, and my path

– I allow the love within my heart to easily flow and radiate in all direction and this love returns to me multiplied

– My foundation is strong and based in Universal Truth

Embrace changes as they come during the Cancer Full Moon and the rest of the year. What shows up for you around this time is a treasured gift for your growth and evolution.

New Year – New You in 2012

New Year, New You on NewMoonManifesting.comWow, another year has flown by. As we embark on the New Year it’s time to reflect upon the old one and set intentions for the new. Every year brings new vibrations, new tendencies and desires.

In numerology, 2011 was the year of “duality illuminated.” The number 2011 is represented by 2=duality and 11=illumination. Many people were unaware of areas in their life where duality existed, and during the year, change was thrust upon them. This created frustration, disappointment, anger, and depression because illusions and unstable foundations were shattered to make room for truth.

During the year, many became aware where duality still existed in their lives and were able to transcend those “ah-ha” moments into healing opportunities. It was a year of breaking down barriers between the us and them mentality, male and female energy, fear and faith, or light and darkness to shift thoughts, emotions, patterns, and behaviors making room for balance and a foundation based on truth.

As with every year, 2012 bring with it a new vibration. In numerology 2012 is the vibration of 5 = 2+1+2. A five holds the vibration of change, adventure, freedom, versatility, curiosity, energetic, and resourceful. Sounds like we’re all in for a BIG adventure in 2012!

In a year of “change” you may be inspired to experience new relationships, new ideas, new contracts, new plans, new enterprises, more growth, more freedom, and more variety. Awareness of how you react to the “new” helps you embrace opportunities instead of shutting them out. When you experience fear towards change or something new, ask yourself, “What’s the worst possible thing that could happen if I do this?” or “What do I have to lose if I do this?” Change is necessary to our growth and evolution, so close your eyes and jump in to the deep end.

In addition to the generic energy of 2012, you can also determine your own “personal year number” to further tune in to the subtle energy of the New Year. For example, take your birth month, add your birth date, and the number 5 (2012) to get your personal year number. Use the number 1 for January, 2 for February, and so on. For example, if your birth date is January 17 add 1 (January) +17 (birth date) +5 (2012) = 1 + 17+ 5 = 23; reduce to a single digit 2+3 = 5.

If the first calculation is a repeating number such as 11, 22, or 33, then do not reduce to a single digit. For example, if your birth date is January 16, then your personal year number is 1 + 16 + 5 = 22. Repeating digits are master numbers and hold a special significance and are not reduced to a single digit.

Predicting 2012 with the Numerology Personal Year Number

Number 1 — New beginnings and more energy

Number 2 — Better relationships and teamwork

Number 3 — More creativity and inspiration

Number 4 — Discipline and opportunities

Number 5 — Unpredicted changes and more expression of personal freedom

Number 6 — Additional responsibility and more attention to domestic affairs

Number 7 — Contemplation and spiritual awareness

Number 8 — Respect and recognition

Number 9 — Transformation and humanitarianism

Recognize change is a big part of the equation this year. It is up to us to embrace change or resisted it. To help you stay on track with your New Year’s Resolutions, join us each month for the New Moon conference call. Click here to register.

Happy New Year and Happy New You!

Winter Solstice 2011

The Winter Solstice occurs on December 22, 2011 at 12:30am EST (Dec 21st at 9:30pm PST). This is the longest night of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. The Winter Solstice is celebrated by many people around the world as it marks the sun’s return. The days get progressively longer until the Summer Solstice in June. It’s a seasonal shift everyone notices.

Emotions may be easily identified between now and the New Moon, which occurs on Saturday December 24, 2011. With the power of the sun and moon minimized, it’s an opportune time to go within; acknowledging the shadow side, and transforming any negativity into light. It’s a quiet, contemplative time where we each can descend into seeing the true image of ourselves and make changes to shift light within.

As we are engrossed in darkness, take time to embrace whatever emotions are surfacing. Focus on creating loving relationships with yourself and others. You may be acutely aware of what emotions and darkness still needs to be resolved, so use meditation, prayer, and/or affirmations to transmute any lower vibrating emotions into higher ones such as love, peace, and joy. Also, ask the Universe to provide you with unconditional love, validation, and support as you transition through the last days of the year.

Do something special to honor this day and yourself; set intentions for the New Year, express gratitude, or disengage from any turmoil by turning it over to the Universe. Use the time of the Winter Solstice and New Moon to resolve the past and prepare for a fabulous New Year!
