The New Moon in Capricorn occurs on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 2:44pm EST (11:44am PST). The New Moon is a time of beginnings; starting new projects, or setting new goals. If you haven’t already implemented your New Year’s goals, then here is your second chance.
Capricorn is the cardinal earth energy, with influencing themes of security, dedication, and commitment. It’s the sign of “getting things done.” Structure and systems are strengthened by Capricorn’s energy, plus the staying power of Saturn (which rules Capricorn) makes this a great moon for planting seeds for the long haul. Any goals that revolve around sustained effort and patience are supported by the Capricorn energy.
Capricorn rules career. Set clear intentions related to career, create an action plan, and maximize your efforts with this New Moon. If you play it right, then you’ll reap great rewards six months from now. Through discipline and structure you’ll create momentum that will carry you forward.
The New Moon in Capricorn is a good time to:
- honor your ambitions
- evaluate structural changes in relationships, work, and where you live
- review finances
- take care of the structural aspect of the body – skeletal system and teeth
- develop a strategy for your goals
- set or re-evaluate personal boundaries
Capricorn is ruled by the 10th House – the House of Social Status. The 10th House influences ambition, motivation, career, status in society, one’s public appearance, and the breadwinner of the household. Use the influences of the 10th House to drive your dreams.

The comfort seeking Taurus Full Moon stirs up emotions this week as the Moon reaches its peak on Monday, October 29, 2012 at 3:50pm EDT (12:50pm PDT). The Moon in Taurus brings to light issues related to security, loyalty, values, finances, body image, and desire. The Full Moon is illuminating what is most important for you to face. Use these messages to make conscious choices related to healing them.
With the moon in Taurus and the sun in Scorpio you may be drawn towards experiences and people that provide emotional stability and support. Its a great time to look at your true support system, letting go of people that have alternative motives.
The sun in Scorpio encourages to go deep within and explore our passions, intensity, and deep healing, while the moon in Taurus reminds us to let go of rigidity, stubbornness, and resistance to change. Scorpio creates intense opportunities for transformation to take place – shedding light upon the dark corners of the unconscious. It’s a great time to use the powerful Hunter’s Moon to highlight the shadow areas to bring optimal emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual health.
Although the polarity of Scorpio and Taurus may feel that everything is working in opposition, in reality the water and earth sign are compatible and value completing tasks and reaching goals. Both signs are very creative, helping you work outside of the box in coming up with unique solutions towards manifesting your goals. On the flip side, both Taurus and Scorpio are two of the most stubborn signs. Recognizing this fact may help you resolve stubbornness and the inability to let go, allowing transformation and healing.
We are being bathed in the Full Moon in Taurus for the next couple of days. Use its power to let go of any darkness, heaviness, or burdens by turning them over to your Creator; replacing what is released with golden-white light coming into your physical body through the crown of your head, illuminating every cell within you. Through this practice you are bringing more light to yourself and healing.

Monday October 15, 2012 at 8:02am EDT (5:02am PDT) the New Moon enters the astrological sign of Libra. The New Moon is an auspicious time to foster new ideas and begin new projects. With the New Moon both the Sun (consciousness) and Moon (unconsciousness) are aligned; providing fertile ground for planting new seeds.
Libra’s theme is balance, harmony, diplomacy, and recognition. The scales is its symbol. Whether you’re seeing imbalance between your ego and intuition, male and female, inner self or outer relationships, relationships with the planet and cosmos, and/or the ego and intuition, Libra brings a sense of co-operation and harmony to life. We glean from Libra a sense of objectivity so we may view complex, highly emotionally charged situations with a balanced, detached approach. It’s a time to consider all options in a diplomatic way. However, while the Sun is in Libra making decisions may be difficult because Libra weighs both sides of the issue.
Libra rules the Seventh House – relationships and partnerships. The Libra energy avoids rocking the boat. It would prefer to put emotions aside and please others. On the opposite side Libra could bring out passive-aggressive behavior, self-serving decisions, and a superficial attitude. Through awareness you can shift any undesirable behavior into what you want.
In addition to finding balance within relationships, this New Moon is a reminder to find balance within. Are you eating right, getting enough exercise, taking time to relax and recharge? This month may be a great time to set some goals that help you balance life better.
Love is in the air with Libra which is ruled by Venus and governs the Heart Chakra. The Heart Chakra is the balancing point between heaven and earth. The first three chakras relate to earth functions while the upper three chakras function as a connection to our Divine-self. This month will be a great time to forgive others, release resentments, follow your heart, and get to the heart of anything that bothers you. Use meditation, journaling, and affirmations to shift emotions you want to release and replace them with what you want to create.
New Moon in Libra Affirmations:
– I am balanced within myself
– I easily find balance with other people
– I am diplomatic and tactful
– I lovingly allow joy to flow through me
– Joy is in the center of my heart. I express love to all
– I love and accept myself
Join us in honoring the airy New Moon in Libra for a live FREE conference call on Monday, October 15, 2012 at 9pm EDT (6pm PDT). During August 2012 we experience a unique event with two Full Moons. The first full moon occurred on August 1st, with the second is happening on August 31st. When this occurs the second one is called a “blue moon.” The blue moon name does not mean the moon has a blue hue, it is simply a term used when two full moons occur during a calendar month. The next blue moon occurs in July 2015.
The exact time of the Full Moon is on August 31, 2012 at 9:58am EDT (6:58am PDT). It moves into the astrological sign of Pisces. Emotional wounds may weigh you down during this “Blue Moon” because Pisces is prone to feeling victimized. This moon is conjunct Chiron, which represents the ” original wound” and Neptune, which tends to cloud issues. You may feel like you’re caught in a maze and don’t know which way to turn.
Pisces also rules the 12th House – The House of Self-Imprisonment. This could be a very interesting time. For those of you who are doing the healing work, it will be a great time of releasing ties to your original wound, old emotions, and self-imposed limitations. Generally Pisces brings an element of elusiveness and secrets. This will be further clouded by Neptune’s presence. Be cautious to make rash decisions, because things may not be as they seem. It’s a great moon to go into the depths of your soul and fish around for emotions fragmentation and spiritual distress that have occurred in this and other lifetimes.
For those who are avoiding healing work, it may be thrust upon you with the Full Moon. Keep in mind when going through transitions, either chosen by you or by others, you’re attitude towards the change determines the outcome. You can choose to go through situations with anger, strife, and stress, or see the opportunity for healing, growth, and gratitude.
During any Full Moon emotions are brought to light by the reflection of the illuminated moon. Using this time to release unresolved emotions is a sure-fire way to enhance your ability to manifest. We are emotional beings and need to learn how to process the “energy in motion” (E-motion) that has become stagnant or stuck in the body. Once the e-motions have been resolved you feel lighter, more energetic, free, and you’re able to hold more light.
Creating a ritual around the Full Moon is a great way to progressively heal. By following the same practice each month, you’ll create a rhythm and flow with the healing process. Here are some suggestions for Full Moon healing:
1) A few days prior to the Full Moon take note of recurring emotions or experiences
2) Identify specific emotions through journaling and introspection
3) Make a list of emotions you want to release
4) Make a list of emotions you want to replace them with
5) Bless the list calling in your Creator, guides, angels, ancestors, and anyone else that is here for your highest healing
6) Create a burning ceremony using the fire to release the emotions into the Universe and replacing them with the new ones
7) See yourself letting go of the emotions that you’re releasing
8) Shift old patterns through affirmations when you catch yourself responding to the patterns
8) Express gratitude for support and validation during your transitions
Healing is your responsibility. Instead of avoiding it, take charge and face the fears that hold you back from leading an Empowered Life! Use the power of the Full Moon (Blue Moon) in Pisces to boost your healing.

The New Moon is on June 19, 2012 at 11:03am EDT (8:03am PDT). This New Moon is exceptionally powerful as it is followed by the Summer Solstice on June 20, 2012 at 7:09pm EDT (4:09pm PDT). Use this highly energized time to maximize your growth; be inspired, heal, love, express gratitude, and embrace the beauty within and around you.
As we transition into summer, life is blooming all around you! Learn to live in its flow instead of resisting it. Notice the beauty and transition any lower vibration thoughts, feelings, emotions and conflict towards balance, harmony, and growth. What is coming up for you needs your attention and there is no better time than now to face it.
One way to expand yourself is to learn to breathe deeply. Use the air sign of Gemini to expand your breathing. Deep breathing is a great way to rinse away the old and allow new creative inspiration to come in. It also allows you to be more centered and grounded.
Breathing typically becomes shallow when you are stressed. Practice deep breathing along with your meditation or yoga to release any stress you’re holding. Be conscious of your breathing and realize when you’re resisting. Use a few deep breaths to draw in new life and inspiration to face challenges instead of contracting from them. The power of the breath is an easy way to transform stress and fears into confidence that empowers you.
This New Moon is also special in the fact that it is again in the house of Gemini. The first occurred on May 20th and again on June 19th. Many of the themes from the last new moon, the solar eclipse, and this new moon are still in play. You’ll have the extraordinary chance to push forward with projects you’ve been working on. You may feel that your inner antenna is heightened. You may feel that you already know the answer before you even formulate the question. It’s important to stick to your plans and trust your instincts. There is no need to enlist the opinions of others. You know what to do, now get out there and do it!
Each New Moon is a time of new beginnings, or revisiting existing goals. It’s a time of planting seeds of what you want to accomplish during the coming month. The time around the New Moon is less emotionally charged, allowing you to see more clearly the path to take. Take time to evaluate your goals and dreams. With this New Moon, dream BIG and be open to possibilities that you never envisioned.
Join us in honoring the second New Moon in Gemini for a live conference call on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 9pm EDT (6pm PDT). During the call we will talk more about the New Moon, answer any questions you have about manifesting, and provide a guided imagery meditation to integrate your goals into the subconscious. Gemini stimulates our dreams and intellectual attitudes with its lively energy. Use this time around the New Moon to set new goals and create what you want. Join us for the New Moon in Gemini conference call on Tuesday, June 19, 2012.
With this New Moon we’re entering the astrological sign of Aries. Aries is an intense fire sign. And you may feel tension as we enter into this New Moon. Aries likes to act – think of it like a demanding child, who is unwilling to wait. And when it doesn’t get what it wants, it SCREAMS or uses temper tantrums to get his or her way!
If you’ve been feeling that your life is on the edge… Aries is going to help push you over. Just what you wanted to hear, right? You may not feel you’re ready, but Aries pushes us to let go and learn to trust our wits and instincts. If you’re still living in the belief that you’re in control, the energy of Aries is going to push you out of it.
And of course, you have a choice of how to respond to this – you can pick the hard way of resistance and fear or the easy way of surrender and trust in the Universe to provide for you!
When you are falling into old patterns or fearful, use affirmations to transform the old thought processes and patterns so you create something new.
I am empowered with inner courage and strength
I am courageous and follow my intuition
I am a pioneer and a leader
I am a spiritual warrior and others are inspired by me
I trust my higher-self to guide my path
I am energized and ready for action
I am dynamic and quick-witted

The moon reaches its full illumination on Thursday March 8, 2012 at 4:41am EST (1:41am PST). This Full Moon in Virgo is a great time to review your New Moon goals and adjust your wishes. It’s an emotional time emphasizing romance and relationships.
This Full Moon is a balancing act between two mutable signs Pisces and Virgo. It may bring to light frustrations that impede you, habits that limit your progress, and areas where you need more discipline. It’s time to focus on your own journey and kick out any voices (inside or out) that keep you swimming in fear and denial.
The Full Moon will also enlighten what still needs to be healed within us both psychically (Pisces) and physically (Virgo). Finding balance between day-to-day functions and routines (Virgo) while expanding our spirituality and vision (Pisces) may be a challenge. Some sort of crisis or expanded awareness provides an opportunity to explore our emotional needs, or lead us on an unexpected or unconventional course.
Are you fed up with all the drama? With the help of Mars in Pisces, it’s a time to break out and break free. The old patterns have to be broken before new pathways can emerge. Instead of reacting to unexpected changes and challenges, take a step back, take a deep breath, and ask yourself, “What is emerging for my highest good out of this situation?” You’ll be amazed how perceptions shift and you see things differently providing a segway to a bright future.
Changes are happening and you can choose to embrace or resist them. They are going to happen whether you’re ready or not. Resistance is futile and only creates frustration. You’re being guided on a path that is for your highest good. Learn to let go, and go with the flow. Embrace your fears by packing them up and bringing them with you. By simply acknowledging them your perceptions of them will change. This Full Moon is very supportive and you may find you have more strength than you realized .
It’s time to express yourself, letting the lid off of everything you’ve been holding inside. Over the next couple of weeks be open to what is expanding in your world. You’ll be amazed if you go with the flow. Use this Full Moon in Virgo to express what emotions are showing up. By expressing your emotions you’ll speak your truth, and stand in your power. Once you reclaim your power you attract and manifest more.
