The New Moon in Sagittarius brings with it excitement, big dreams, and the fiery dedication to breathe life into your goals. The New Moon is the perfect time to ignite new projects and this New Moon is intensified with a solar eclipse. The solar eclipse invites you to break from the past and make a brand new start. What better time to do that then during the New Moon? As we finish up 2011 use this New Moon to create the best year ever and become the best possible you! Over the next couple of days spend time dreaming BIG; begin planning and planting what you want to create.
The New Moon occurs on Friday November 25, 2011 at 1:11am EST (Nov 24, 2011 at 10:11am PST). It’s a time of rebirth, and the opportunity to begin a new cycle with the energy of Sagittarius. Sagittarius invites honesty and truth in regards to what motivates you. Sagittarius is the archer, and teaches us to rise above limitations related to outdated belief systems, thoughts, and patterns. It’s time to dart into new territories and expand your thoughts, beliefs, and patterns.
The characteristics of Sagittarius include trust, faith, optimism, and risk-taking. This can be implemented both internally and externally. Reach within to to find your true intentions and aspirations. The sacred stage is set to begin the next act. At this time ask yourself, “What can I let go of to make space for something new?”
This is the last full lunar cycle before the entrance of 2012. It’s time to follow your dreams without delay, doubt, or fear. As we close out another year, decide what you want to leave behind and set your intentions with the New Moon to hit the target this cycle. In numerology, 2012 brings with it the vibration of “rapid change” (as if we haven’t all experienced change lately). But the changes we’ve gone through have prepared us for the next leg of the journey. Whatever you can leave behind in 2011 will help you launch into the New Year with a huge advantage.
In honor of the New Moon we will be holding a live conference call (long distance charges apply) on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 9pm EST (6pm PST). During the call we will talk more about the Sagittarius New Moon, discuss ways to enhance the manifesting process, and provide a guided imagery meditation to integrate your goals into the subconscious. 11.11.11 and the Full Moon
Posted by Jana Groscost Matthews | Filed under Ascension, Full Moon, Inner Alchemy, Jana Matthews, Manifesting, New Moon Manifesting, Self Healing, Transformation, Transmutation
It’s a big week for potential transformations with the dates 11.10.11 and 11.11.11 as well as the Full Moon.
The 11.10.11 and 11.11.11 dates are significant in numerology. Numbers are symbols with subtle messages from our angels and guides. Each number holds a particular vibration. When looking at a date all the digits can be combined and reduced to a single digit; for example the date 11.10.11 is reduced to 1+1+1+0+2+0+1+1= 7. According to Collette Baron-Reid the number 7 holds the vibration of spirituality, observation, and meditation. Kryon states the number seven holds the vibration of wholeness, divinity, and perfection.
Typically repeating numbers such as 11 are called master numbers. Looking at the 11.10.11 date again the message would be 11 = illumination; 10 or 1= new beginnings; and 11 = illumination. We are living in a time where human consciousness is shifting at a phenomenal rate. With each change in consciousness we have opportunities for exponential growth. In this date the potential opportunities for new beginnings are flanked by divine light.
The date 11.11.11 represents illumination tripled! This date is a portal or gateway of Conscious Awakening of our soul’s purpose. As we resolve resistance, heal, and evolve, our bodies are able to hold and maintain more light, thus vibrating at higher rates. Since manifesting is based upon vibration, we attract similar people or situations that vibrate at our same rate. This is the foundation of the Law of Attraction; like attracts like. Through these shifts we are able to shed the old patterns and resistance that keeps us at lower vibrations, thus en-lightening the body, and attracting higher vibrations.
The date 11.11.11 also is represented by the number 8=1+1+1+1+2+0+1+1 which Collette describes as a symbol of power, strength, abundance, and a balance of energies; Kryon describes is as a symbol of manifesting and infinity. We are seeing signs of incorrect perceptions of power being stripped away. Money, dominance, and control have long been perceived as a way to be powerful, but these false paradigms are crumbling as the energy shifts towards our true power: unity, collaboration, and oneness. True power comes from one source: God (Universal Intelligence, Creator, Source, or whatever you choose). As we release the false perceptions we open up to receiving more.
As if the intensity of these two days isn’t enough, let’s stir the pot with the emotional force of the Full Moon in Taurus. For many the full moon may drudge up intense fears and anxiety as one may feel out of control. The human condition has adapted to being in control. It takes work/practice to shift the ego’s desire to control everything and leap forward in faith knowing a higher power is assisting you. The Taurus Full Moon energy deals with personal values, the material world, and security while Scorpio rules transformation, change, and destruction. The foundation you thought was secure may be shaking at this time as false beliefs and values are being destroyed bringing in purity, truth, and deepening our human experience.
The moon reaches its peak on Thursday 11.10.11 at 3:18pm EDT (12:18pm PDT). The Full Moon illuminates the night sky and our emotions. So another layer of illumination is added to an already heightened time. Be aware of what emotions are coming up for you. Your Higher-Self is bringing to light what emotions and resistance need to be resolved within you. Instead of reacting to the emotions, take a deep breath and ask yourself,
“What am I feeling?”
“What do I need to understand and/or resolve?”
When paying attention to the messages brought up, you can consciously transmute the old pattern to what you want. Here are a couple of exercises to help through these transitions:
1) Take time to write down the emotions and messages to help organize your thoughts and attract solutions
2) Visualize the old thoughts, emotions, or patterns leaving your body and replace them with what is wanted. For example, if you react in anger, visualize all anger leaving your body and replace it with peace or love.
3) Transmute thoughts and emotions by using affirmations
4) Express gratitude for what is being brought up to help resolve it
11.11.11 and Full Moon Affirmations:
I easily let go security and embrace uncertainty
I easily resolve anger and frustration; responding with love and kindness
I listen and follow my inner guidance
I am divinely guided and led
I am Illuminated
We are being bathed in divine light for the next several days. Take time on 11.10.11 and 11.11.11 to let go of any darkness, heaviness, or burdens by turning them over to your Creator. Visualize a golden-white light coming into your physical body through the crown of your head and illuminating every cell within you. Through this practice you are bringing more light to yourself and the world.

The Mayan Calendar Ends Today
Posted by Jana Groscost Matthews | Filed under Ascension, Inner Alchemy, Jana Matthews, Manifesting, New Moon Manifesting, Self Healing, Transformation, Transmutation
Today, October 28, 2011 is a significant date on the Mayan Calendar. It’s the end of the ninth wave. There are many theories about the significance of the end of the calendar ranging from gloom and doom to enlightenment.
The ninth wave is called “Unity Consciousness” and began on March 9, 2011. During the past seven months there have been many shifts occuring in the cosmos allowing us to grow and stretch to accommodate new levels of consciousness. We have needed to make room for the consciousness by clearing out the old beliefs, patterns, and emotional baggage. Some of the changes experienced have been a choice on our parts and some have been forced upon us. Without judging the shifts in your life as being “good or bad” recognize the beauty in the change and express gratitude for it.
The human consciousness is constantly evolving. The Mayan Calendar symbolizes the nine levels or steps of evolution the universe goes through on its climb to its highest state of consciousness. With the completion of the ninth wave we are integrating the ability to fully co-create reality. Through each level of consciousness the frequency has increased twenty times from the prior level. Have you felt the vibration shift over the past seven months?
The ninth wave is about creating harmony. What do you need to release to allow more harmony in your life? Ask your Divine guidance to assist you with the disharmony and stress. Right now we are confronted with choices between truth and tradition. Ask you Creator to help you align yourself with the cosmic plan. What are your passions? What can you do to enhance Unity Consciousness?
The end of Ninth Wave of the Mayan Calendar is beginning to an entirely new capacity of manifesting. We step into the energy of true co-creation. Do something symbolic to clean out your space and make room for this energy. Physically clean out closets and de-junk your space. And emotionally clean up the unresolved traumas and dramas creating an uncluttered path for your manifesting.
Embrace the new vibration and ride the wave of “Unity Consciousness” to co-create your realty.

New Moon in Scorpio Affirmations 2011
Posted by Jana Groscost Matthews | Filed under Jana Matthews, Manifesting, New Moon, New Moon Manifesting, Self Healing, Transformation, Transmutation
An affirmation is a conscious statement that is used to counteract incorrect thoughts or beliefs by retraining the brain. The affirmation sends a new message through the brain causing a new pathway for the neurons to follow.
Affirmations are a conscious way to create a desired programming. They work as a foundation for the neurons to travel a different pathway. The subconscious reacts to the new programming by either reappraising its current beliefs or avoiding the new information. Resistance is experienced when there is a large gap between what the subconscious currently believes and the new programming.
The subconscious typically finds it easier to maintain the old programming than to challenge the perceived inner truth. This becomes evident when there is a strong inner feeling of resistance when an affirmation is stated or written.
Continually reciting or writing affirmations chips away at the subconscious resistance. Once the resistance is broken through, the subconscious re-examines the core beliefs. Depending upon the depth of the core belief influences how easily it can be reprogrammed. The subconscious may go through periods of introspection as it re-examines the layers of beliefs and learned behaviors. You may experience significant resistance to this process due to extreme traumas experienced.
As you flow through this lunar cycle, use affirmations to transmute any undesirable thoughts, patterns, and emotions so you retrain your brain with what you want to attract.
New Moon in Scorpio Affirmations:
I easily let go and go with the flow
I ride the tide of life
I accomplish what I set out to do
I express my talents and true power easily
I plunge into life and express my passions
I follow my passions
I am free

New Moon in Scorpio 2011
Posted by Jana Groscost Matthews | Filed under Ascension, DNA Healing, Inner Alchemy, Jana Matthews, Manifesting, New Moon, New Moon Manifesting, Self Healing, Transformation, Transmutation
We enter a New Moon phase on October 26, 2011 at 3:56 pm EDT (12:56pm PDT). The New Moon is a time of new beginnings and signals awakenings within us. It’s a time to begin new projects, take action, make changes in your daily routine, and follow your instincts as emotional levels are calmer. The New Moon invites you to look at your life from a different vantage point and decide if you want to continue on the same path, or chose something different. It’s the perfect time to begin new projects, or look at existing goals with a fresh perspective.
This New Moon enters the astrological sign of Scorpio. Integrating the positive attributes of Scorpio into your New Moon goals helps you maximize the benefits of the Scorpion energy. Scorpio is passionate, resourceful, focused, with the desire to dig deeper into the inner working of ourselves with self-mastery. Keep in mind Scorpio also has less positive characteristics such as jealousy, vindictiveness, and being manipulative. Awareness is the simplest way to diffuse the undesirable characteristics and shift the focus to what you want.
You may be inspired to get to the bottom of matters, and discover the areas of your life where you feel out of control. Scorpio helps you free yourself from emotional distress, addictions, and destructive behaviors liberating you from the past. Take time to listen to the subtle messages from your heart to understand what motivates you and others. Scorpio encourages us to enrich our feelings of intimacy and deepen relationships.
This cycle is about quality instead of quantity. It’s the perfect time to focus on one specific project or relationship and concentrate all of your energy into understanding it better or how you can enhance it. Practice lightening the heart and release any heavy burdens.
In honor on the New Moon and to help you understand the manifesting process better we will be offering a FREE (long distance charges apply) conference call on Tuesday October 25, 2011 at 9pm EDT (6pm PDT) to talk about further about the New Moon, manifesting, and provide a guided imagery meditation. Full Moon in Aries 10.11.11
Posted by Jana Groscost Matthews | Filed under Full Moon, Jana Matthews, Manifesting, New Moon Manifesting, Self Healing, Transformation, Transmutation
Emotions run high as we enter the Full Moon in Aries on October 10, 2011 at 10:06pm EDT (7:06 PDT). With the moon at its peak we are presented with a heightened polarity between individuality (Aries) and partnering (Libra). Libra is always seeking balance, and the quest for harmony in all relationships takes priority over personal needs. Aries is focused on personal needs and neglects achieving balance in relationships.
The moon illuminates areas of our lives that need our attention. With this full moon we are evolving and learning to express ourselves in a new way. This may impact the significant relationships and bring to light what is working and what needs to release.
The effect of the full moon can be felt for a couple of days before and after the actual event. We are all under considerable pressures as the cosmos changes, forcing us to change and evolve. During this time you may feel off balance, out of sorts, discouraged, lethargic, depressed, or unmotivated. To avoid getting swept away by these feelings take time off and relax. There is an ebb and flow to everything, and now is the time to step back.
What can you do to take advantage of the full moon?
1) Take time to notice what’s coming up for you. What emotions are being triggered or what people are upsetting you.
2) Write down a list of who or what you want to release during the full moon.
3) Visualize yourself letting go of everything on your list and replace it with what you want or God’s love, light, and energy.
4) Or burn the list sending your desires into the universe.
5) Use affirmations to transmute emotions that need to be resolved with what you want.
Affirmations:
- I heal my relationships with love and grace
- I am balanced between my individuality and partnerships
- I easily release anger and aggression
- I easily resolve emotional wounds
- I am balanced in my relationships
- I am powerful and independent
- I see my true path
- I forgive others and myself
Finding balance between the Libra energy of compromise coupled with the spontaneous energy of Aries is stirring up interesting twists in all of our lives. Use the power of the Full Moon in Aries to help you achieve your goals.

10.10.11 and 10.11.11
Posted by Jana Groscost Matthews | Filed under Inner Alchemy, Jana Matthews, Manifesting, New Moon Manifesting, Self Healing, Transformation, Transmutation
The countdown begins as we approach two significant dates; 10.10.11 and 10.11.11. Numbers are a symbolic language through which our angels/guides communicate messages to us if we’re willing to listen and explore them. The numbers of a date work as a system and provide significant messages to assist us with our progress or understanding ourselves better.
For example, the numbers of a date are typically added together. The date 10.10.2011 would be reduced to a single number by adding all the digits together such as 1+0+1+0+2+0+1+1=6. The number 6 is a sacred number of communications, harmony, balance and love. According to Collette Baron-Reid the number 6 is the vibration of nurturing, artisitic, and humanitarianism.
The date 10.11.2011 would be reduced to the single number 7; 1+0+1+1+2+0+1+1=7. Seven is a divine number. Kryon claims the number 7 represents wholeness, perfection, and life learning. According to Colette Baron-Reid the number 7 is the vibration of silence, spirituality, scientific study, analysis, observation, and meditation.
In numerology you can also look at the number sequence without completely reducing it to a single digit when there are repeating numbers. In this case the number 10 reduces to a 1 because the zero is a placeholder (1+0=1) The number 1 represents “new beginnings, unity, and oneness.” Since the number 11 is a repeating number it isn’t reduced to a single digit. The number 11 represents “illumination.” It is a symbol of the path to the wisdom of Spirit. Collette Baron-Reid says, “Seeing the number sequence 11:11 or other versions of 11′s confirms our eternal connection to the Divine and invites us to pay attention to the synchronicities in our lives.”
The 10.10.11 date represents oneness, oneness, illumination and the 10.11.11 date represents oneness, illumination, illumination. These symbolic dates are an important portal in our progress and transformation. As we listen to the messages relayed these two dates we gain insight into areas of our lives that need our attention.
When seeing significant number sequences take note of what you’re thinking about or doing. There are websites that provides interpretations of number sequences and learning the symbolic messages will assist you in understanding the guidance you’re receiving from your guides/angels.
To interpret your messages:
1) Write down what you were doing or thinking when this experience happened
2) What intuitive feelings were/are you experiencing?
3) How does this relate to questions you’ve asked of your angels/guides or the Universe?
4) Can you track the number sequences to significant events in your life?
These two dates also are significant in the Mayan calendar. 10.10.11 representing the last day of the 6th night and 10.11.11 is the first day of the 7th day of the Mayan calendar.
This Ninth Wave of the Mayan calendar began on March 9, 2011 and ends on October 28, 2011. The calendar is broken down into 7 days and 6 nights each “day” and “night” lasts 18 of our 24-hour days. For example, day one began on March 9, 2011 and ended March 26, 2011 then night 1 began March 27, 2011 and ended April 13, 2011, etc. Finally the 7th day begins on 10.11.11 and ends 10.28.11.
This calendar cycle began with the planting of seedlings about eight months ago and ends with the plant bearing fruit which will be the cycle beginning next week. Have you felt the intensity and swings of the various transitions? For many it has felt like a rollercoaster of significant highs and lows bringing fears and unresolved emotions and patterns to the surface.
I find it interesting the last day of the 6th night ends on a number 6 date and the first day of the 7th day begins on a number 7 date. Coincidence? Perhaps, but how much in life is really random? When we learn to interpret the symbolic language of Spirit an entirely new world opens up for us. We understand “coincidences” as more than random occurrences and interact with energy on a different level.

I am supported by life in grand and glorious ways.
I am safe and secure. I am at peace with myself and with others.
