New Moon in Cancer

It’s time to let go of old habits and outmoded ways of operating. You may find family patterns resurfacing and bringing unconscious reactions to awareness, this is necessary so that you can recognize them and make needed changes. Acknowledging the emotions and expressing gratitude for them coming up instead of dwelling on the past will help you release and move more quickly through the process.
If you are sad about the past, have a good cry and then move on. Be open with emotions to new forms of expression, awakening intuition to reveal unconventional ways of finding security and discovering fresh paths to freedom. This is what this lunar cycle is all about.
This is a time where meltdowns could be experienced both naturally as in earth movements and figuratively as in personally. Remember, when you melt something down it becomes pure potential for creativity. So if you are melting down, it’s time to stop everything and take time to do absolutely nothing. Be in the void. It may feel like death but it is the foundation for conception. Honor the conception of your own rebirth.
Be okay sitting in stillness. We live in a society that wants instant results and gratification. Be patient as the energy shifts and prepares a new fertile ground for creation. We still need to do our part by letting go of the old feelings, thoughts, expectations and attachments.
