When I first saw my totem animal, I thought "no - that can't be it!" and I tried to make it go away and see if another would appear.... LOL... no, he wouldn't budge. But in reading about animal totem medicine afterward, I could see he was the perfect guardian for me. I was also fascinated by the part of my soul which found me again that day. She was like a buoyant, energetic, playful little fairy that really wanted me to MOVE with her... to dance, to play and express myself through motion. The reunion has been a true blessing. The meditation was absolutely peaceful and the results of the "reunion" was finding a part of myself which had been lost for more than 30 years. Since then, I find myself happier and happier - particularly since the part of my life with which I reunited specifically was one in which I needed to "play" more often. It's been a good time. Then it became clear and I felt an overwhelming feeling of peace. Now when I feel out of sorts I think back to the peaceful moment in the stream and instantly bring a calmness back into my life.
